Liam and Noel Gallagher perform together this week for the first time in 16 years as rocker FINALLY joins rehearsals – just weeks before Oasis’ reunion tour kicks off

This week, Liam and Noel Gallagher will be performing together again after a gap of 16 years. The initial complete Oasis rehearsal is scheduled to happen.

As a lifestyle expert looking back on an interesting turn of events, I’d say it’s quite remarkable how the once-feuding brothers have now decided to join forces again. This summer, they’ve made it official that they will be gracing the stages with their iconic Oasis tunes.

Meanwhile, at 58 years old, Noel and the rest of the band are well into their practice sessions, excluding the lead singer, who is 52. However, it’s been confirmed that Liam will soon join his fellow musicians for a complete run-through at an undisclosed venue, with the world tour set to commence shortly thereafter.

For the very first time since then, Noel and Liam Gallagher performed together at the V Festival in Staffordshire, which was all the way back in August 2009. However, the band broke up only a few days later due to a major disagreement that occurred before their appearance at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

On Sunday morning, Liam expressed his eagerness about getting back into the band while responding to numerous fan inquiries on the platform that was once called Twitter.

One spectator inquired: “Enjoying your Sunday! Gearing up for rehearsals, aren’t you? Time is running out, and you’ll soon be uniting with the rest of them, right?

To which the singer replied: ‘Yes Rasta D I’m in Tuesday to blow there minds.’

Another asked whether he was ‘excited’ to begin rehearsals, with Liam responding: ‘Can’t wait’.

Additionally, Liam made it clear that he would indeed participate in the rehearsals. This came about when another fan asked, “How long will your rehearsal day last? Will you arrive and depart swiftly?

With the rocker remarking: ‘I’ll sing the set then I’m out there I don’t hang about.’ 

In simpler terms, the artist behind “Wonderwall” expressed that he was experiencing feelings reminiscent of biblical times and had no intention of sticking around for photo opportunities. He added, “I’m not one to pose; I’ll just come and go.

The real story about how Noel and Liam reconciled and eventually reunited Oasis has finally come to light.

Reports indicate that it was Noel Gallagher’s daughter, Anais, who played a significant role in bringing about the eagerly anticipated reunion tour by the band.

The 25-year-old individual is reported to have played a significant role in reuniting long-lost siblings, as they allegedly suggested the concept of reconciliation first.

Additionally, it’s noted that Anais played a part in arranging the playlist and provided some understanding of what modern listeners might prefer.

As reported by The Sun, it’s stated that Anais’ father, following their separation, strongly desired the reconciliation of his brothers Liam and Paul. Consequently, he was focused on re-establishing a connection between them.

She has a good relationship with Liam’s sons, Gene and Lennon, so she requested if their father might be open to listening to her proposal.

Through her strong bond with Liam, she managed to suggest the notion of reconciliation to both parties. Given their friendship, she could reach out to him directly. After Liam contacted Noel, the next steps were in their hands.

Anais is regularly spotted spending time with her cousins Molly, Lennon, and Gene, and they’re often found participating in social gatherings together.

1998 saw Liam having a short-lived romance with Lisa Moorish, who later became Molly’s mother. He was previously married to Patsy Kensit at the time.

Liam did not meet Molly until 2018 after which he expressed hope he would remain in her life.

Liam has a 25-year-old son named Lennon, whom he shares with his ex-wife Patsy Kensit. Additionally, he has a 23-year-old son named Gene, whose mother is Nicole Appleton, someone Liam dated after his divorce from Patsy in 2000.

Noel also has Donovan, 17, with ex wife Sara MacDonald, who he split from in 2023.  

Oasis sensationally split in 2009 after a backstage bust-up – devastating their loyal fan base.

Over the past 14 years, an ongoing dispute and heated arguments have unfolded between them, with the brothers exchanging barbs during interviews and on social platforms.

However, they will be performing together on a massive global tour next year, with performances scheduled in the United Kingdom, America, South America, and Asia all set for the year 2025.
