Lewis Capaldi has disclosed that Justin Bieber stopped responding to his messages following their exhilarating night out at a glitzy party filled with celebrities.
28-year-old singer shared with Chris Stark of Capital Breakfast that although they swapped phone numbers during the evening, Justin (aged 31) didn’t reply to his text the day after their encounter.
He said: ‘It was amazing, there was famous people, Charli xcx was there, Justin Bieber was there.
Justin Bieber approached and asked, “Hey there, how are you doing?” To which I replied, “Aren’t you supposed to recall my name since we’ve never met before?” And he responded, “Indeed, I do – you’re Lewis Capaldi.
Last night, Justin Bieber and I shared a truly wonderful evening together. We didn’t sleep in the same place, but we spent quality time together. The way things went made me feel that Justin Bieber and I could be great friends, which seems quite significant to me.
He said, “Be sure to give me your phone number tomorrow.” To which I replied, “Me and Justin Bieber? This is monumental!” (or Me and Justin Bieber, this is a big deal!)
‘I sent him a very flattering text. I told him something like, “I just had to reach out, last night was amazing, great person, so enjoyable to spend time with you, truly a cool guy”, and so on.’

Elsewhere in Lewis’ first radio interview in two years, the hitmaker touched on his career hiatus.

Approximately an hour afterward, Lewis posted an update indicating that both the initial and additional dates had been completely sold out.

I’ve given up trying to get Lewis Capaldi tickets now! I was in the waiting room by 8:42am, at the front of the line by 9:02am, but then a message popped up saying they were sold out, although an additional date had been added. Unfortunately, when I got into the queue at the 25,000th position, it crashed, leaving no tickets for a third day.
