As a devoted fan who’s been following this crew since their debut back in 2008, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and impatience regarding Season 3 of Leverage: Redemption. The original series was more than just a show for me; it was my weekly escape into a world where justice wasn’t just served, but dished out with a side of wit and style.

In 2008, TNT’s show titled “Leverage” was highly successful. The main character, Nate Ford (played by Timothy Hutton), used to be an insurance fraud investigator but later teamed up with a group of criminals: Sophie (Gina Bellman), a con artist; Parker (Beth Reisgraf), a thief; Eliot (Christian Kane), who was known for his violent abilities; and Hardison (Aldis Hodge), a skilled hacker. Together, they executed heists and scams to bring down the wealthy and unscrupulous, and then donated the proceeds to those wronged by such criminals.
1. The series spanned five seasons, concluding in 2012. In 2021, Freevee rebooted it as Leverage: Redemption. After Nate’s demise, the team regrouped with Noah Wyle portraying Harry, a former corporate attorney turned ally. Hodge’s film career led to Hardison’s limited appearances, replaced by Aleyse Shannon’s new character Brenna, who joined as the hacker.
2023 brought me great news: The hit show I’ve been following got renewed for a third season! Not only that, but it’s moving from Freevee to Prime Video. Exciting times ahead! And here’s another twist – John Rogers, the original creator of this series, is now stepping up as the showrunner and executive producer. Can’t wait to see what he has in store for us next season!
At the San Diego Comic Con, executive producer Dean Devlin offered clues regarding the plot for Season 3.
Bigger, wilder, crazier. And I will just tease this – the finale is unlike any Leverage episode we’ve ever done before, and it opens the door for brand-new kinds of Leverage episodes that we’ve never explored.

When will Leverage: Redemption Season 3 premiere?
Just like most TV series, “Leverage: Redemption” faced a delay due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes. Moreover, the cast members have been keeping themselves occupied – for instance, Kane recently starred in his personal Freevee series titled “Almost Paradise”. He even posted an Instagram picture confirming that filming concluded in late May of 2024.
It seems the series could come back in early 2025 since they need to complete post-production. The entire cast is likely to return, and it’s possible Hodge might appear more often as Hardison. As for the specific missions the team will tackle, there’s not much info confirmed yet.
It seems we’ll need to be patient for more details, but it looks like by early 2025, the Leverage crew will return to work. This spells trouble for the wealthy and unscrupulous, while fans of the entertaining show can look forward to its continuation!
