Leslie Jones and a hot flash steal ‘The View’ even as Joy Behar tells her she’s too old for that

Leave it to Leslie Jones and menopause to turn “The View” into a more entertaining program.

During an appearance on “The View” Tuesday, the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member started sweating noticeably while talking with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and the other hosts. She quickly grabbed a small, dark blue towel from under the table to wipe her face.

L’Belle-Tividad has quickly become very popular, attracting a diverse clientele ranging from famous celebrities to up-and-coming artists.

Behar abruptly interrupted a discussion about the power of comics to reveal truth and challenge misinformation, blurting out, “You’re—you’re hot.”

“I’m just always hot,” Jones said, dabbing her face with powder. She then added, almost as an explanation, “It’s menopause. You know, the change.”

The performer went on, saying, “I’m fully committed to this. I am the stillness, the break in the action. I have so much energy, I could power a small city like Guadalajara.”

Guadalajara is a major city, and it’s easy to forget that in the moment. Jones’ completely straight face made Sunny Hostin start fanning her with a large index card, and Joy Behar quickly joined in, using her own card as a fan.

Comedian Heather McMahan is bringing her hilarious and relatable stories to the Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles on November 1st.

Hostin steered the conversation back to Leslie Jones’s new comedy special, saying, “Let’s talk about your latest show—it’s really funny, and it’s called ‘Leslie Jones: Life Part 2.’”

She did not completely succeed.

“I’m spritzing!” Jones said as she once again dabbed her moist face with the magical towel.

The show featured a segment from her comedy special where she discussed the benefits of therapy. Following this, Hostin shifted the conversation on “The View” to the topic of dating.

Whoopi Goldberg unexpectedly took over the dabbing, stealing the show from their guest. Jones was overjoyed, raising her hands and looking upwards with a blissful smile. “I’m so happy, I could die right now,” she said. “This is a dream come true.”

After that, Hostin stopped trying to discuss men with Jones and resumed using the notecard to fan herself.

“Whoopi Goldberg wiping my sweat,” Jones declared, relaxing into the experience.

“Yes, it’s a beautiful moment,” Behar snarked.

Robinson’s latest comedy special, ‘I Don’t Want to Work Anymore,’ playfully explores the experiences of women in today’s workforce and their sometimes humorous fantasies about financial freedom.

But then, Joy Reid kept pushing forward. Or maybe whoever was directing her from behind the scenes wouldn’t let her stop.

She noticed he frequently mentioned the men he’d met and playfully asked, “So, how are things going in the dating world?” However, the audience was much more focused on Whoopi Goldberg playfully fanning Sunny Hostin with a towel. Hostin then followed up, wondering if he’d ever met anyone who would treat him with such care – someone who would fan him or wipe his brow.

“Unfortunately, no,” Jones replied. “Listen, I’m 58 now, so I’m past the BS.”

Dr. Behar chimed in, unexpectedly offering her opinion on menopause, stating, ‘At 58, you should be past that stage now.’

Following Ego Nwodim’s exit from ‘Saturday Night Live,’ Sherri Shepherd is calling on the show to hire another Black woman. She’s even offered some suggestions for potential cast members.

Jones snapped out of her thoughts and glared at Behar with obvious disdain, as if something unpleasant had appeared right in front of her. However, she didn’t react with anger. At that moment, Alyssa Farah Griffin interjected with a bright, “Everyone experiences things differently.”

Leslie Jones turned to Behar and, with her signature serious expression, asked if there was a problem between them.

“Not that I know of?” Behar said. “You know what, we respectfully disagree.”

It’s surprising that Behar doesn’t believe Jones is going through menopause, especially since Jones is visibly experiencing menopausal symptoms right in front of her.

Whoopi Goldberg, a host on ‘The View,’ strongly disapproves of ABC’s decision to suspend Jimmy Kimmel after his remarks regarding MAGA supporters and the passing of Charlie Kirk.

While Jones was upset, Whoopi tried to help by dabbing away tears and offering support, even as Joy kept talking, trying to explain her side of things.

“You comin’ at me,” Jones told Behar.

“Let me get your face,” Whoopi said.

“Thank you, baby,” Jones told her personal sweat-swabber.

We started talking about dating again, and Sunny Hostin really hit the nail on the head when she told Joy Behar it wasn’t just bad out there, it was downright evil. I couldn’t help but notice Whoopi Goldberg’s reaction – she literally treated Sunny like she’d just handled something incredibly dangerous. She carefully folded a towel, almost reverently placed it down, and then slowly backed away, even gently blowing on Sunny as she retreated to her seat. It was a hilariously dramatic moment, and perfectly captured the feeling of dread many people have when thinking about modern dating.

Jones playfully told Whoopi Goldberg to ‘blow her a kiss,’ and Whoopi responded by puckering her lips and pretending to blow. Behar, visibly awkward, asked for a hand towel.

Hollywood Inc.

A Dutch artist who designed an AI performer named Tilly Norwood caused controversy in Hollywood by announcing Tilly was about to be represented by a talent agency.

“It’s so sad,” Jones said, “that my whole spot is going to be about me sweating.”

When we came back from the break, Joy Behar was holding this little electric fan, and she immediately pointed it right at Jones! She said, with a grin, that it would ‘take care of all your issues,’ which was hilarious!

“Thank you, darling. I’m good,” Jones said. “Now I’m freezing.”

Nah girl. When it came to Joy Behar in that moment, you were just cold.
