Lesley Manville’s “enchanting” British movie is now streaming for free

While anticipating Lesley Manville’s reappearance on our screens with the spy thriller “Winter of the Crow” and the upcoming season of “Citadel”, why not enjoy a movie from this week’s selection instead?

In “Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris,” we find Ada Harris, the protagonist who works as a housekeeper for the affluent, including Lady Dant portrayed by Anna Chancellor. While at Lady Dant’s residence, Ada lays eyes on a £500 Dior gown and becomes determined to own it herself.

Rest assured, Mrs. Harris isn’t planning to take it. On the contrary, Mrs. Harris carefully budgets her war-widow’s pension to afford a trip to Paris. There, she meets André, a Dior accountant, and Natasha, a famous model. (Lucas Bravo and Alba Baptista play these roles respectively.)
