Leomie Anderson Calls Out Bear Grylls for ‘Belittling’ Treatment on Celebrity Hunt Show!
In the Netflix series “Celebrity Bear Hunt,” adventurer Bear Grylls doesn’t spare anyone as he chases twelve well-known personalities across the Costa Rican wilderness. If he manages to catch one of them, they are disqualified from the competition.
But has the adventurer, 50, taken his love for survival of the fittest to the extreme?
As a loyal follower, I’ve picked up whispers from behind the scenes of the show fronted by Holly Willoughby. It seems there’s been a bit of a stir in the camp, with the well-educated Bear Grylls and London-bred model Leomie Anderson, age 32, who was unfortunately the first to leave, apparently having a bit of a tussle.
According to my source, Leomie felt demeaned by Bear, as if he intentionally sought to emphasize the idea that she, being a model, resembled a Barbie doll.

Is it possible that her absence at the London red-carpet premiere earlier this month, where Mel B and Danny Cipriani joined other cast members, was due to her eagerness to participate as she wanted to break model stereotypes? Anderson, who made history as the first black British Victoria’s Secret ‘Angel’ in 2019, had been eagerly anticipating this opportunity.
She mentioned, ‘There’s a common belief about our abilities, people assume we prioritize our appearance over intelligence. I aim to challenge and disprove such stereotypes.’
Anderson also signed up as a tribute to her father, who died from cancer two years ago.
‘I believe he would have been pleased with my actions, so when I face difficulties, I plan to remind myself by thinking about what he would say to encourage me to carry on.’
A spokesman for Bear Grylls and Netflix was unavailable for comment.
