Lennon Gallagher and his cousin Anais prove it’s not just Liam and Noel who have ended their feud as they attend London Fashion Week’s Burberry Show after his brutal social media mocking
As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in family dynamics and the ever-evolving world of fashion, I must say it’s heartening to witness the reconciliation between Lennon and Anais Gallagher. Their unity at the Burberry Show during London Fashion Week serves as a reminder that even families with long-standing feuds can find common ground.
Their fathers are best known for their decades-long feud.
However, it’s clear that Lennon and Anais Gallagher are not the sole family members who have put their differences aside. This is evident from the fact that these two cousins were spotted taking photos together during the Burberry Show on Monday.
The pair were among a slew of stars who attended the show during London Fashion Week, years after Lennon, 25, famously mocked Anais, 24, for sharing a post complaining she ‘needs a boyfriend.’
Lennon presented an unpretentious image in a black sweater adorned by a renowned fashion designer’s logo, whereas Anais, aged 24, chose a Burberry-branded fleece jacket with a zipper.
In the year 2017, it seemed as if Lennon playfully teased her relative when she posted about her being single on platform X.
She wrote: ‘I need love today. I’m feeling super fragile and basically need a boyfriend. But keep reminding myself I’m too embarrassing to get one!’
Swiftly responding in a blunt manner, Lennon posted the brief remark, “Really?”, which promptly sparked comparisons among many to his father, known for his witty remarks on social media.
At the London Fashion Week event, it was none other than the iconic leader of Blur, Damon Albarn, who held a prominent position, known for his rivalry with Oasis.
It’s uncertain if the famous Blur vs. Oasis rivalry has been carried forward through the years, yet it seems prudent to keep a distance. As such, Albarn and his daughter, Missy, found themselves seated at a safe remove from any Gallaghers in attendance.
These included Noel’s daughter, Anais, Liam’s daughter, Molly, and his sons Lennon and Gene.
As a devoted admirer, I was among the crowd, and my eyes couldn’t help but be drawn to Patsy Kensit, Lennon’s mother, who exuded elegance. She was stylishly dressed in a black Burberry trench coat, complete with a belt, and her outfit was finished off with fashionable black ankle boots.
Although Burberry has recently dropped from the FTSE 100 index due to share prices reaching a 15-year minimum, it has taken an extravagant stance when curating its exclusive guest list.
Distinguished figures from stages, screens, sports, and the music world gathered to witness the presentation of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which Daniel Lee, the creative head, anticipates will help revitalize the brand’s success.
Besides the Gallaghers, other attendees turned the event into a family gathering, with Jerry Hall, her daughter Elizabeth Jagger, and Jerry’s husband, Rio Ferdinand, also in attendance, along with his wife, Kate Ferdinand.
Additional attendees included Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Iris Law, David Gandy, Poppy Delevingne, Olivia Colman, Barry Keoghan, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Lady Amelia Windsor – a member of the royal family.
The Team GB Olympic champion, Keely Hodgkinson, was likewise seen sporting a vibrant orange motorcycle jacket that stood out.
Anna Wintour, the head of Vogue, expressed her backing by exchanging her “Harris-Walz 2024” campaign scarf with a Burberry one.
If the stars are considering joining the Oasis reunion next summer, they will find plenty of inspiration for their outfits as the collection showcased an impressive array of waterproof garments perfect for a typical English summer.
As a seasoned lifestyle connoisseur, I recently found myself captivated by the latest Burberry ensembles donned by none other than the radiant Lily Donaldson and the ever-stylish Edie Campbell. Notably, Lily commanded attention in a spacious, elegant pale blue parka adorned with intricate details on its hood. On the other hand, Edie showcased a chic, cropped version of this timeless piece.
Different types of raincoats were presented, such as capelets, safari jackets with belts, bomber jackets, and blousons, all in a soft pastel color scheme featuring shades of pale green, tangerine, and lilac, complemented by earthy neutral tones.
Since their creation by Thomas Burberry in 1879, trench coats have been the money-spinners for the brand. For the spring collection, these classic pieces were revamped with a light daisy pattern, while also being offered in more conventional neutral colors.
Fabrics were light, and included cotton, silk poplin and bonded linen.
The assortment drew significantly from the ’90s fashion trends, featuring mesh polo tops, zip-up combat trousers, and raincoats (cagoules), often paired with the era’s popular footwear, the clogs.
Regarding its potential to increase the struggling sales of the brand, the outlook seems uncertain but hopeful.
Like the British weather for which this collection was designed, fashion is notoriously fickle.
