LEGO releases ultimate Disney movie crossover set
As a lifelong Disney enthusiast who grew up with these timeless tales, I am absolutely thrilled about LEGO’s latest creation – Magic of Disney! This set is like a dream come true for me, a perfect blend of my two favorite worlds: Disney and LEGO.
LEGO has revealed its grandest collection of Disney film hybrid sets, including figures from The Lion King, Encanto, and additional favorites.
Recently, the toy creator unveiled a fresh, constructible showpiece titled “Magic of Disney”. This unique piece is filled with characters and settings from treasured Disney animation films.
As a gamer, I find myself immersed in a magical world where mini-adventures unfold around an iconic figure reminiscent of Mickey Mouse, dressed as the Sorcerer from Disney’s classic 1940 movie “Fantasia.” It feels like stepping into one of the Disney Parks!
As an ardent Disney enthusiast, I could craft a raft inspired by Geppetto’s boat from Pinocchio, replicate Lilo’s surfboard from Lilo & Stitch, scale Pride Rock like Simba in The Lion King, and even attempt to stand at Madrigal House, reminiscent of Bruno (though we rarely speak about him) from Encanto.
Additionally, you’ll find characters like Sebastian the crab and Flounder the fish from “The Little Mermaid” riding a wave, along with the enchanting Dancing Broomsticks from “Fantasia” in this extraordinary Disney presentation.
Furthermore, LEGO introduces their initial character figurine of Belle, accompanied by the spellbound rose, inspired by the 1991 animated film “Beauty and the Beast”.
Disney Magic falls under the LEGO Ideas lineup, a platform where enthusiasts propose ideas for possible sets, and if these concepts gain sufficient public backing, LEGO will manufacture them.
This enclosed booklet offers a detailed guide on the development process of the concept, complete with sequential directions and engaging interviews with the fan creator and the LEGO design team.
The enchantment of Disney is specifically designed for mature enthusiasts, who are 18 years old or more, due to its intricate 1,103-piece assembly. It stands approximately 9 cm tall (equivalent to 7.5 inches) and stretches 27 cm wide (around 10.5 inches).
At this moment, you have the opportunity to purchase the LEGO’s Disney Magic set directly from the LEGO Store in the United Kingdom for £89.99, or in the United States for $99.99.
The launch of this collection occurs concurrently with the centennial celebration of Walt Disney Animation Studios and the 87th year since the premiere of their inaugural full-length film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.
Fans can stream 100 years of animated classics on Disney+.
