As a long-time fan of both Lego and Dungeons & Dragons, I can hardly contain my excitement for these new releases! The announcement of 12 detailed minifigs inspired by beloved tabletop game characters is music to my ears. I’ve always felt that there was something missing when it came to fully immersing myself in the world of D&D with Lego, and these minifigs are the perfect solution.
If you’re craving more Dungeons & Dragons in your LEGO form, don’t fret! Pre-order a collection of 12 intricately designed minifigures representing various species and characters from this beloved tabletop game, set to be released at the LEGO storefront on Sep. 1.
In this set, you’ll find 12 minifigures featuring various characters such as a Tiefling Sorcerer, Halfling Druid, Mind Flayer, Lady of Pain, and Szass Tam. Each figure comes with an exclusive accessory. For instance, the Mind Flayer is accompanied by a tiny Intellect Devourer, while Tasha carries her renowned Cauldron of Everything.

As someone who has been collecting LEGO minifigs for years, I must admit that I was quite disappointed to find out that the latest collection doesn’t include any of the exclusive monsters or characters from the Red Dragon’s Tale set. Having grown up with classic D&D stories and always being on the lookout for rare and unique minifigs, this news came as a blow to me. I had my heart set on finally getting my hands on a Beholder or an Owlbear minifig, but unfortunately, they remain elusive and out of reach. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, especially since these exclusive figures are often the ones that make a collection truly special.
At present, you can place pre-orders for the blind box collection at the Lego store. Each individual box costs $4.99 and is restricted to a maximum of 24 per customer. On September 1, Lego will sell packs of six minifigs separately for $29.99 each.
