Legendary Judas Priest Drummer Dies at 73—Fans Worldwide Mourn Iconic Music Star
Former Judas Priest drummer Les Binks has died at the age of 73.
On Monday, their band shared this message on social media: “We’re heartbroken over the loss of Les, and our thoughts go out to his loved ones, friends, and admirers.
His exceptional drumming skills were top-notch, showcasing his distinct methods, panache, aesthetic, and accuracy.
‘Thank you Les – your acclaim will live on…’
The British heavy metal group, Judas Priest, originated in Birmingham back in 1969. Les was one of their members between the years 1977 and 1979.
They’ve sold more than 50 million records and are often considered among the top metal bands ever.
