Legend Of Zelda Vibes Are Strong In New Steam Game You Can Try FREE Now

If you use Steam, be sure to check out the free games and demos regularly. Even if you don’t have Steam, it’s worth looking into – there are a lot of great free games available to download!

There’s a new game on Steam that strongly resembles the Zelda series, and it hasn’t gotten much attention yet. Visually, it’s very similar to games like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, but the way you fight and progress – with a mix of RPG and action elements – is also quite comparable.

Cloudheim Has A Touch Of Zelda About It

Especially In The Post Breath Of The Wild Era

The new action RPG, Cloudheim, is now available in Early Access on Steam and boasts stunning visuals. In this 1-4 player game, the world has been broken apart by Ragnarök, and it’s up to you to rebuild it. The game features a unique, physics-driven combat system and draws inspiration from classic RPGs like Zelda.

Honestly, what really grabbed me about Cloudheim is how beautiful it looks. You can definitely see a little bit of Zelda in there, but the way they built the whole game around Norse mythology and clouds is super cool. It feels inspired by Zelda without just being a copy. Plus, I’m a total sucker for games with floating islands, and this one has a ton of them, which is awesome!

If you’re looking for a new action-RPG to play with a team of four, this game could be a great fit. I’m particularly excited about the combat system, which focuses on combining attacks, and the gameplay videos show off some impressive moves. Adding cooperative play on top of that makes it even more appealing.

Cloudheim Is Free To Try On Steam Now

Give It A Shot

Even though Cloudheim is available now as a paid Early Access game (and is currently on sale until December 18th), you can also try it out for free with the official demo. This demo is surprisingly comprehensive, letting you play as 15 different characters, complete the full tutorial, build a base, choose from four classes, and play through the first two acts of the main story. It’s a substantial amount of content for a demo!

If you’re looking for a fun game to play with friends over the holidays, Cloudheim seems like a great choice – and you can even pet cats! While there’s no release date yet, you can follow the official Steam page for the latest news and updates from the developers.
