As someone who’s spent countless hours navigating the gothic realms of Nosgoth, my heart skipped a beat when I heard about the impending arrival of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered! The original games were part of my formative years in gaming, and the thought of returning to Raziel’s tale with enhanced visuals has me more than a tad excited.
According to Aspyr Media’s official announcement, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered will be available on Xbox platforms in December. This revelation comes after an early leak on the PlayStation Store earlier today.
In the unveiling video, we see that the first Soul Reaver from 1999 and its sequel from 2001 are set to receive an upgrade, featuring improved graphics, and the option to play using either the original or the updated visuals.
It has been revealed through a leak that Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered will definitely be released for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as PS5 and PS4, on the 10th of December. Check out the premiere trailer below.
