As a longtime fan of gripping crime dramas, I’m eagerly anticipating the second episode of High Potential. The pilot was a captivating introduction to Morgan’s complex character and her troubled past with the police department.

In the debut of the High Potential series, we discovered the reason behind Morgan’s lack of faith in the police. Now, we move forward to observe how she collaborates with them, despite her reservations.

In the pilot, we were introduced to the main characters and learned how Morgan transitioned into working as a consultant for the police department. Additionally, we caught a glimpse of the ongoing plotline throughout the season, which revolves around Morgan’s former partner, Ava’s father, and the reason behind her distrust towards law enforcement.

On one fateful evening, fifteen years ago, Ramon, Ava’s father, stepped out to buy diapers and never returned home. Morgan felt something terrible had befallen him, but the police presumed he was just another absentee parent. Consequently, there was no inquiry into his disappearance. It’s hard not to doubt the police when they harbor such callous sentiments.
