LeAnn Rimes has publicly addressed speculation about cosmetic surgery after a recent on-stage mishap where she lost some of her teeth during a performance.
The country singer and songwriter, age 43, recently responded to rumors that she had plastic surgery for her part in the popular new ABC show, 9-1-1: Nashville.
During an Instagram question-and-answer session with her followers on Sunday, she encountered a comment simply stating ‘boob job.’ This happened roughly a month after she posted a video of herself at work on Instagram, according to Us Weekly.
The singer behind “Blue,” who recently shared that she’s been dealing with health issues after experiencing tooth loss on stage, dismissed the gossip with a humorous response.
Okay, so everyone’s been talking about… well, my chest in the 9-1-1: Nashville clips, and honestly, it’s a little weird even saying this, but I have to confess! I’m wearing the biggest, most amazing push-up bra you’ve ever seen! Seriously, it’s a lifesaver – or, you know, a chest-saver – for the character. I can’t believe I’m even admitting this, but there it is! It’s all thanks to that bra, I swear!
Rimes confirmed she didn’t get any cosmetic surgery to change her breasts for her role as Dixie Bennings in the Hulu series.

I’ll never forget when I took my bra off one day and, honestly, my breasts just kind of… stayed up for a moment, almost reaching my chin, before they finally dropped. It was a funny moment, but it really showed how much support I needed!
‘So no, I did not get a boob job. Nothing that has not been there already,’ she added.
She recently had an open and honest talk with her fans, following her disclosure about her health issues and explaining why she’d kept them private for so long.
She shared this news as fans continued to worry, following an incident in June where she lost her front teeth while performing on stage.
Oh honey, you won’t believe this! I heard the most shocking story – a performer was actually onstage at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington, giving it her all, when her dental bridge just… came loose! Can you imagine the embarrassment? It just goes to show, even when you’re ‘on,’ life can throw you a curveball. It’s a reminder to always be prepared, but also to laugh it off – everyone has those moments!
She revealed that she wears dentures, explaining she chose to get dental veneers at age 16.
Unfortunately, the veneers weren’t attached correctly, so she had to see another dentist for repairs. This led to several root canals and oral surgeries for the singer.
LeAnn Rimes opened up to her fans on Instagram after a video of a surprising moment from her concert went viral. She explained that during her performance, her teeth unexpectedly came loose, which was a shocking experience for everyone.

I was performing ‘One Way Ticket’ on stage last night when I suddenly felt something break in my mouth,” she explained. “As many of you know, I’ve had a lot of dental work done, and I have a bridge in the front of my mouth.
‘It fell out in the middle of my song last night.’
She remembered rushing to the side of the stage to fix the fallen bridge.
Honestly, I reached a point where I had to be upfront with everyone about what I was going through, or I wouldn’t have been able to continue the performance. It was rough – for the rest of the show, I was actually pushing my teeth back into place between almost every line while trying to sing. It was a real struggle to get through it!
Honestly, it was a tough situation, and there wasn’t much I could do. I could have given up, but I decided to just push through and deal with it the best I could. So that’s exactly what I did – I just kept going.
Previously, Rimes had also opened up about her health journey.
She shared with her fans that, alongside multiple dental procedures, she deals with psoriasis and started experiencing early menopause symptoms in her thirties.
In January 2024, LeAnn Rimes shared with her fans that she had surgery to remove some cells that could have become cancerous.

‘For so long, it did feel like I was hiding so much of myself,’ she told Us Weekly in this October.
She also added that the secrecy about her skin and health contributed to feelings of self-doubt.
Rimes explained that acknowledging these feelings – past insecurities about her appearance and self-worth – was helpful. Ultimately, she learned to accept and love herself, embracing all the different phases of her life.
LeAnn Rimes has openly discussed her struggles with psoriasis, first sharing her diagnosis in 2020, even though it was difficult for her to talk about her health.
Sharing her diagnosis publicly felt like a huge weight lifted, as she’d kept it secret for a long time.
I’ve found this to be so true with my own mental health, and now as I’m going through perimenopause. It’s amazing – every time I open up and share my experiences, it feels like a weight lifts for both me and someone else who might be going through something similar. It’s incredibly liberating to talk about it.
