As I delve into the captivating lives of these Hollywood stars, I can’t help but marvel at the intricate tapestry of their relationships and careers. Lea Thompson, a woman who has graced our screens for decades, has had an eventful journey, from her time in Jaws 3-D to her current role in Back To The Future – the Musical. Her life is a testament to resilience and adaptability, navigating the ebbs and flows of love and fame with grace.
Lea Thompson wept upon being asked about her former fiance’s backing of Donald Trump, mere hours following the Republican’s victory over Kamala Harris, reclaiming the White House.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Thompson, who is 63 years old, expressed fear for her daughters and confessed that she is unsure about how to proceed following Donald Trump’s election victory.
Actress from Back to the Future found it challenging to hold back emotions as she responded to her recent criticism of Dennis Quaid, aged 70, who supported Donald Trump, aged 78, during a rally in California last October.
In a recent conversation, you expressed your thoughts on Dennis Quaid and his connection to Donald Trump. Following this, someone inquired about how your strong advocacy for women’s rights was affected by the situation. With that background, they asked, “Given yesterday didn’t go as planned, where do we head from here?
Thompson fell silent and started to cry before offering the dejected response: ‘I don’t know.’
Struggling to contain her emotions she continued: ‘I don’t know. I’m sorry.’
She was asked if there was a reason to feel ‘hopeful’, but she responded by saying, “I’m not feeling particularly hopeful right now. Instead, I’m feeling quite scared because I have daughters.
As a lifestyle advisor, I feel compelled to share a personal perspective: I may not be directly impacted, but as a mother, I’ve witnessed the deep sorrow experienced by families who have lost infants. ‘It just, I feel really bad for them. But America’s spoken.’

Wrapping up playfully, she quipped about America needing a DeLorean – the time-traveling car famously driven by Dr. Emmett Brown, portrayed by Christopher Lloyd, and Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future.
‘We need that,’ she said. ‘We need to get on that.’
Thompson’s comments come weeks after she appeared to brand her ex, Quaid, ‘stupid.’
