The team captains picked their players, but they could only choose people who normally play the same position – even though players will be trying out different roles in this exhibition match. Just a reminder, this is a fun show match and won’t affect the official standings. It’s all about entertaining the fans and adding some excitement to the LCK! LCK 2026 show match prize
The winning team at the 2025 League of Legends championship was able to give away 100 skins to each of their five players – a total of 500 skins for the fans. The Most Valuable Player received a prize of $1 million Korean Won, which is about $700 USD. Details about this year’s prizes haven’t been announced yet. Last year, Team Mid won the championship, and Gwak “Bdd” Bo-sung was named MVP.
The 2026 Season
The upcoming showmatch will give fans a first look at what’s coming in the 2026 season of League of Legends. The new season kicks off with a focus on Demacia, exploring the rich history and lore of this beloved region within the game.
