Layton goes back to being a detective in Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 3

As a seasoned fan of detective dramas and the gritty post-apocalyptic world of Snowpiercer, I’ve seen my fair share of twists and turns. But nothing quite compares to Layton’s latest case in Season 4, Episode 3. It’s not just about finding his daughter this time; we need to bring Dr. Headwood to justice!

In the initial episode of the Snowpiercer series, it so happened that Melanie encountered Layton as she required a detective’s assistance. Layton, being the only detective aboard the train, was summoned from the rear section of the train to assist in resolving the mystery at hand.

In Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 3, it’s high time for him to once again utilize his detective abilities. This isn’t a simple matter of locating his daughter. Rather, he must track down the elusive Dr. Headwood and ensure she faces the consequences of her actions.

In the upcoming episode, we’ll return to New Eden with our characters. A glimpse of what’s to come shows Detective Layton investigating a case.

Layton knows how to deal with Headwood in Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 3

So far, Layton’s primary goal has been to retrieve Liana. To achieve this, he must locate Headwood. Therefore, he should direct his attention towards solving the case in a manner reminiscent of his work as a detective. Consequently, he and Josie begin searching Dr. Headwood’s workspace.

It’s evident that she didn’t have enough time to pack many items, yet she gathered the necessary ones. Among those essentials were her late husband’s shoes and a handful of her belongings, which intrigues Layton. This suggests that Headwood had been preparing for this situation for quite some time.

For a while now, the Animal Squad has kept an eye on Layton and the others in New Eden. In other words, they’ve been observing their activities carefully.

Take a look at the sneak peek:

As a devoted follower, I must confess that for quite some time now, the Animal Squad has kept an eye on New Eden. Gazing at the vibrant cityscape unfold before me, it struck me that the person who appears to be Alex’s father is behind this rejuvenation – thanks to his groundbreaking research. This revelation instills in us all a sense of optimism, as we believe that with such progress, there may yet be a chance for humanity to coexist harmoniously with Earth once more.

As the scientists strive to restore Earth as we know it, Milius and his Animal Squad appear to harbor secret intentions. Meanwhile, Ben, accompanied by Audrey and Ben, were preparing Till for their journey to New Eden to alert Layton and the team. Regrettably, it was already too late; Zarah had been slain, and Dr. Headwood, along with one of the Animal Squad members, made off with the infant.

It’s not entirely obvious what Headwood desires, but Layton reminds us that Headwood has had a long-standing fascination with Liana since Zarah was pregnant. While Liana was still in the womb, Headwood seemed to be conducting an experiment, which could suggest that she possesses some unique abilities similar to Josie, who can endure cold temperatures more effectively than others.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but wonder if Headwood would dare delve deeper into the mystery of the Animal Squad’s ominous black gas. Could curiosity lead her to observe its impact on the young ones? Given Headwood’s relentless spirit, nothing seems beyond her reach.

Despite the seeming futility of Layton’s detective work, it proves invaluable as he knows how to handle Dr. Headwood once she is found, especially when a long-term plan is involved.
