Law Roach admits he got ‘a LOT of calls’ after going viral for revealing Zendaya and Tom Holland wed

At the Academy Awards on Sunday, stylist Law Roach found himself repeatedly asked about a playful hint he’d dropped regarding a possible secret marriage between his client, Zendaya, and her partner, Tom Holland. He spent much of his time on the red carpet avoiding direct answers to those questions.

The news started circulating on March 1st at the 32nd Actor Awards. Celebrity stylist, age 47, told Access Hollywood, ‘The wedding is over, and you all missed it – it’s definitely true!’

Though Roach skillfully steered the conversation towards everyday things like the weather and some shoes he liked, Entertainment Tonight did manage to get him to acknowledge he’d gotten ‘a lot of calls’ after sharing gossip two weeks prior.

‘I’m rooting for Ryan Coogler tonight and Sinners,’ the self-described ‘image architect’ added.

When questioned about his previous statements on Sunday, Roach simply smiled and affirmed, ‘I stand by what I said.’

Roach first began working with the bride when she was 14 years old in 2011, while she was appearing on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up with Bella Thorne.

Although Zendaya hasn’t officially announced her marriage, people have noticed she’s been wearing a plain gold ring instead of the expensive engagement ring—worth around $500,000 and designed by Jessica McCormack—she first showed off in January 2025.

During the ABC/Hulu Oscar ceremony, she wore both her engagement ring and wedding band while presenting the award for Best Director.

The Emmy-winning actress playfully mentioned she had to share her last name while unexpectedly signing a wedding certificate for a couple getting married in Las Vegas. She was participating in a promotional event for her new movie, The Drama.

The 29-year-old groom was seen leaving the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Friday night without a wedding ring on his finger.

TMZ reported in January 2025 that Tom Holland proposed to Zendaya at her family’s home in Oakland, California, sometime between Christmas 2024 and New Year’s Eve. Sources described the proposal as romantic but understated.

The actor, who was born and raised in London, once told Men’s Health that he plans to retire from acting when he has children. He said he’ll focus entirely on golf and being a father, effectively stepping away from public life.

Rumors about Zendaya and Tom Holland dating started in 2017 when they were filming Spider-Man, but they didn’t officially confirm their relationship until 2021. They were photographed sharing a kiss in his expensive sports car near Zendaya’s mother’s house in Silver Lake, putting an end to the speculation.

The popular duo will next play Athena and Telemachus in Christopher Nolan’s epic new movie, a $250 million adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey. The film, also starring Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, and Charlize Theron, will be released in US and UK cinemas on July 17th.

Zendaya and Tom Holland are returning as MJ and Peter Parker in the new Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will be released in US and UK cinemas on July 31st. They’ll be joined by Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo.

On April 3rd, Kristoffer Borgli’s new film, The Drama, will be released in the US and UK. It’s a romantic comedy-drama starring a mixed-race actress and Robert Pattinson as a couple hiding things from each other.

Zendaya was both a producer and star, returning as Ruby Bennett (Rue), in the third season of HBO’s Euphoria. The new season, created by Sam Levinson, has eight episodes and will begin airing on April 12th.

The show features a talented cast including Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Colleen Camp, Trisha Paytas, and the late Eric Dane.

Zendaya finishes filming her part as the strong-willed Fremen warrior Chani in the third Dune movie, directed by Denis Villeneuve. The film, Dune: Part Three, will be released in the US and UK on December 18th.

The upcoming Warner Bros. movie, based on Frank Herbert’s novel Dune Messiah, will feature Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jason Momoa, and Robert Pattinson.

Zendaya will both produce and star in a new biopic called ‘Be My Baby,’ playing singer Ronnie Spector. The film is based on Spector’s 2022 autobiography.

In 2023, Roach said he was stepping back from styling, which he called his ‘retirement,’ to dedicate more time to his top client, along with Ariana Grande and Céline Dion, who has also largely stopped performing.

It wasn’t long before the Project Runway judge started working with a growing list of clients, including Ryan Destiny, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, Naomi Campbell, Rosé, Jodie Turner-Smith, Myha’la, Tyler James Williams, Alice Smith, and Jeremy Pope.

Roach began his career at Deliciously Vintage, a now-closed boutique in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood. The store gained attention in 2009 when Kanye West, the well-known rapper and designer, promoted it.
