Lauryn Goodman’s sister Chloe is ‘not ready to forgive’ her after Kyle Walker drama as she weighs in on financial demands her sibling made in family court showdown
As a seasoned observer of human dynamics, I cannot help but be moved by Lauryn’s poignant narrative. Her strength and resilience are evident, not only in her words but also in her actions. Raising children, especially in the midst of such turmoil, is no easy feat, and she carries it with grace that is commendable.
Chloe Goodman openly stated that she hasn’t yet reached the point where she can extend forgiveness towards her sister Lauryn, as they continue to grapple with their ongoing disagreement.
The aftermath arose due to Lauryn’s choice to disclose her relationship with the English soccer player, Kyle Walker, who plays for both England’s national team and Manchester City.
In the year 2019, she gave birth to her son Kairo, then four, along with Kyle, during one of his breaks from his wife Annie Kilner. However, it wasn’t until January this year that it was disclosed that he had also fathered a daughter named Kinara, who was born the previous summer.
After that, Chloe forbade her elder sister Lauryn from attending her wedding with partner Grant Hall in June, worrying that their relationship might irreparably break down.
In a recent interview, the model has shared insights into their relationship and expressed opinions regarding Lauryn’s legal dispute with Kyle, following the disclosure of her financial claims.
In conversation with The Sun, Chloe clarified: “It’s not about forgiveness for me; rather, it’s a matter of the right moment. At this point, I’m not prepared to engage in discussions with her.”
‘I feel I would get emotional and angry and I could say things I might regret.’
She confessed that although she occasionally goes see Lauryn, who resides nearby, she only does so when prompted by their mother. Moreover, she maintains that she hasn’t had a genuine conversation with her elder sister yet.
She clarified that she takes steps to help her four-year-old daughter, Isla, and her two-year-old son, Hudson, maintain connections with their cousins.
Previously reported by the Mail, it emerged that Chloe grew increasingly worried as she observed Lauryn finding it challenging to handle the stress of the legal battle with her former soccer player partner in the High Court.
Once the judge removed the embargo on public disclosure, she became aware that her sister’s extensive requests would become public knowledge – such as a £31,000 artificial sports field for her daughter and maintenance payments equivalent to an annual salary of around £350,000 – and that Lauryn might face some level of ridicule as a result.
Regarding her monetary requests, Chloe commented: ‘Her demands made it clear she was both furious and wounded, striking hard. Many people, considering this from a typical family’s perspective, are expressing shock, calling it an outrageous sum.’
The model said how she fears people have ‘lost sight’ of the six children who are in the middle of it, but does ‘not excuse her sister’s behaviour’.
TopMob has contacted Lauryn’s representative for comment.
One friend previously told the Mail: ‘Chloe began to feel really concerned for Lauryn.
Out of concern for the potential harm it was causing, she couldn’t stay away as events unfolded. She is well aware that Lauryn often sabotages herself, and it seemed apparent that her sister required assistance to navigate through the difficult situation.
‘Since Lauryn lacks a strong support system, Chloe felt it was necessary to take steps towards reconciling… Despite the fact that Lauryn can be difficult, Chloe recognizes that she’s family. She’s her sister.’
About three weeks past, I found myself extending an olive branch to Lauryn, a woman renowned among our circle of friends for her unyielding spirit.
Chloe demonstrated unwavering sibling loyalty by defending Lauryn on Instagram after reality TV personality Luisa Zissman criticized her, and also supported Annie Kilner (Kyle’s wife) in the same instance.
As a longtime fan who’s been following Kyle’s career and personal life for years, let me tell ya, I ain’t one to jump to conclusions easily. But after all this mess with him doing wrong and the whole circus that’s unfolding, one thing is clear – his wife don’t deserve none of it. She’s been carrying herself with grace and dignity through thick and thin, which is more than can be said for some folks in Hollywood these days.
Chloe asked that her niece and nephews not be mentioned as a means to keep the conversation current or trendy.
As someone who has worked extensively with families and children, I firmly believe that it’s crucial to prioritize their well-being above all else. In this particular situation, it seems clear that Kyle, Annie, and Lauryn have made mistakes, but they are not victims in need of blame. Instead, we must focus on ensuring the innocence of the children involved. I refuse to engage in a blame game with any of them, as it’s counterproductive and detrimental to the overall goal of protecting the young ones. Let’s remember that our actions should always be guided by compassion, understanding, and a desire for justice for those who are most vulnerable.
In my role as a devoted follower, I can share that a reliable source conveyed to me that Lauryn admired Chloe’s firm defense. Our lives, being the sisters we are, have always been intricately connected.
Living on the same street, Chloe’s kids, Isla and Hudson, have a strong bond with Kairo, age four, and Kinara. This close friendship is nurtured by both Lauryn and Chloe’s mother, Karen, who works diligently to keep the cousins connected despite any strife between their mothers.
Lauryn initially encountered Kyle through Chloe, who is a past glamour model and well-known contestant on Celebrity Big Brother.
Chloe was among the initial individuals whom Lauryn confided in upon learning that she was carrying Kyle’s kids, Kairo and later Kinara.
At the moment Grant Hall, Chloe’s football player husband, popped the question, she promptly invited Lauryn to stand as a bridesmaid in their wedding taking place in Algarve.
As the wedding day approached, Lauryn revealed Kinara’s father’s identity to his wife, Annie Kilner, through a message, against Chloe’s pleas for secrecy until after the ceremony. This revelation sparked an uncontrollable uproar. Chloe knew she had to face the toughest decision of her life.
Last month, she shared with the Mail that during her wedding planning, Lauryn’s issues surfaced unexpectedly. This left her in a difficult position where she had to prioritize. Ultimately, she decided it was best for her peace of mind if Lauryn wasn’t included in the wedding due to the unwanted drama.
Lauryn, along with her kids, chose to stay a five-mile drive away from the location during the wedding, as the rest of the family came together. Admitingly, she shared her feelings of deep sadness regarding the prohibition.
During a recent conversation with the Mail, Lauryn defended herself against critics and clarified that her former partner, Kyle, lacks the strength to act appropriately.
She disclosed that the primary reason for taking Kairo to his inaugural England match – a pledge Kyle made to their son in 2022 – served as her motivation, even though she was secretly carrying their second child during that time; he was participating at the Qatar World Cup.
Kyle assured him during their video call that he’d definitely attend the upcoming tournament as he feels this might be one of his last chances, given his increasing age, she clarified.
I felt strongly committed to honoring the pledge Kyle had given to his son, as it might have been their final opportunity together. I hoped it would become an unforgettable memory for Kairo.
Lauryn added, “Our primary focus isn’t pleasing others; it’s all about Kairo, ensuring his well-being, and bringing joy into his life.”
1. “I refuse to be unfairly blamed or mistreated, and I won’t let anyone make me feel like the bad guy. Above all, my kids are my top concern, and that will never change. Fortunately, I am a strong woman and mother, capable of standing up for them.”
During the game, Kairo claimed it was his best day yet, but Lauryn, along with her grandfather John, noticed a hint of sadness beneath the surface.
She shared, “It deeply touched me as it seemed Kairo wasn’t fully grasping the significance of his father’s actions.”
Based on my personal experiences and observations, it is disheartening to witness someone like Kyle who is unable to prioritize his responsibilities towards his other children. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of being strong for one’s family, especially in challenging times. Growing up, I saw my father make tough decisions that demonstrated his strength and unwavering commitment to our family.
‘These individuals are people just like everyone else, and they deserve equal respect and rights. As a mother, I am fiercely protective of their well-being, and will always stand up for them when necessary. It was heartwarming to see him admire his father, but at the same time, it brought a touch of sadness.’
It came to light in January that Kyle, who was then married to Annie, became a father again, this time to a daughter, born to influencer and reality TV star Lauryn.
The drama persisted throughout the England vice-captain’s performances at the European Championships as Lauryn posted pictures of her two kids on Instagram cheering for their father, and Annie traveled to Germany with their infant son to watch him from the stands.
Kyle and his spouse Annie are parents to Roman (age 11), Riaan (7 years old), Reign (5 years old), and their newest addition, two-month-old Rezon. The boys have occasionally been spotted at the games wearing Kyle’s No. 2 jersey.
In 2019, their relationship started taking a turn during one of his breaks from Annie. Despite him being unfaithful and the birth of their son Kairo, Kyle and Annie continued their union residing in Cheshire, while Lauryn, Kairo’s mother, was raising him alone hundreds of miles away in Brighton.
In December of last year, it became known that Kyle is also the father of Lauryn’s child born over the summer.
In Prestbury, Cheshire, Annie evicted Kyle from the family home due to some issue with Lauryn, who had previously barred Kyle’s access and confessed this to Annie. As a result, Kyle found a new place to live in an apartment nearby.
After Annie delivered their fourth son in April, there were reports that they started repairing their marriage, under the stipulation that Kyle ended all relations with Lauryn and their kids.
There are conflicting reports about whether Annie has forgiven Kyle yet.
As a lifestyle advisor, I can share that reports suggest her presence at the Euros was primarily for the kids’ sake, not to prolong any “happy family” scenes in Germany.
In the meantime, Lauryn resides in a £2.4 million home in Hove, East Sussex, raising her kids alone. Kyle purchased this property as part of his child support obligations.
