Lauryn Goodman takes a cryptic swipe at Kyle Walker as she reflects on her ’emotional journey’ after signing up for an appearance on Celebs Go Dating

On Sunday, Lauryn Goodman made a subtle jab at Kyle Walker when she acknowledged that her spirit seems less vibrant.

If someone consistently undermines you, it leaves you feeling less than confident about yourself…and it becomes challenging to regain your footing in such an atmosphere. To put it simply, I found myself getting quite emotional in this situation. Frankly, some aspects of this process have been difficult and demanding for me.
The mother-of-two went on to reveal the Channel 4 show has ‘accelerated’ her healing which has been an ‘emotional journey‘.
A week ago, Lauryn started a podcast together with her friend Lisa Andrews, who is known for having a child out of wedlock with the boxer Nigel Benn 27 years prior.
In the podcast named “Yours Sincerely,” which is supported by a Turkish eatery in North London, Goodman cautions her ex-partner Kyle Walker that she plans on informing their kids about his past actions towards them.
She says: ‘I will be like, “Your dad didn’t want to give us astroturf, your dad didn’t want us to have air con.” It’s just like straight up answer to the questions. I asked, it was a no.’
She expressed dissatisfaction, stating that the courts granted her and their children a ‘comparable’ level of financial support as compared to his four sons from his marriage with Annie Kilner.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it this way: “Just four days apart, my son and twins were born – quite the baby boom! I couldn’t help but joke about it, saying, ‘It feels like a crowded nursery, doesn’t it? I guess we could call it the Swollen Swaddles for now!’
Lauryn countered: ‘Don’t talk about my fanny, you will get people excited.’
Goodman was given the equivalent of a £150,000 a year salary after a court hearing in which the judge accused her of treating the Man City defender as an ‘open ended cheque-book.’
She asked for £31,000 for AstroTurf and £33,000 for air conditioning in the house, which Walker complained he didn’t have at his home in Cheshire. He does have astroturf at his home.
The podcast marks a continuation of hostilities between Goodman and Walker.

In a brief romance while he was still married (but separated), she welcomed a child named Kairo into the world. Later on, when they reconnected, she gave birth to their second child, affectionately known as Keke, who goes by the name Kinara.
Previously, Walker maintained that there was no romantic connection with Goodman, age 34. In a previous episode of Celebs Go Dating, Goodman expressed her surprise at finding herself pregnant. Yet, in recent statements, she admits that both pregnancies were planned and intentional.
In the podcast, she discusses how she revealed to Annie, Kyle’s wife, that he was Kinara’s father, a fact she disclosed in December of the previous year, via a text message.
She said: ‘Making the decision I did in December I knew this would be the domino effect. There was this whole PR campaign, a smear campaign against me and I was prepared for the cutting of the ties but I couldn’t take it any more I was ill.
“It was evident that my ribs were showing. The situation was so dire, I was experiencing severe panic attacks. At one point, I recall thinking that without my kids, I wouldn’t be alive… Please help me escape from this ordeal.
She said that she wasn’t the gold digger which people claimed she was.
I prefer enjoying the basic pleasures with my kids; those moments mean an enormous amount to me. It’s not about living the flashy life, as people often portray it.
She admitted, nevertheless, that she cherished ‘pleasant vacations,’ mentioning that she had always enjoyed lovely holidays in her childhood… and Kairo is exceptionally well-behaved during flights.
I took a trip to the Maldives with him, which wasn’t related to his father, yet nobody ever acknowledged or appreciated that fact.
She stated: “I aim to contribute more financially for my kids, and I’d like to let them know that these accomplishments stemmed from my dedication and hard work.
She denied that Walker had only met Kairo a handful of times, saying: My child just hasn’t formed a bond with someone over meeting four times.
Every night before I drift off to sleep, I tuck a keepsake Euro sticker from my father into a drawer as a comforting ritual. This token of our shared past is something I cherish deeply, and each morning, I retrieve it for a heartfelt hug, reminding myself of the love that transcends distance.
‘How sad is that? If I could remove it and get it out of the drawer and get away with it I would.’
Lisa Andrews, my friend, shared that she made contact with Goodman via social media following the news of her story.
She advised, ‘Make sure to fasten your seatbelt. This trip has been incredibly difficult, and it remains challenging 27 years on.’
