Lauryn Goodman reveals she still exclusively breastfeeds daughter Kinara, 14 months, as she discusses ‘bouncing back’ post baby

In August 2023, the television personality, who was 33 at the time, welcomed her second baby with Kyle Walker. They are also parents to a 4-year-old son named Kairo.
In a straightforward conversation, Lauryn shared that she typically sheds the extra pounds gained during pregnancy relatively quickly. However, she mentioned that breastfeeding puts a significant strain on her physical well-being.
She clarified: ‘My little girl recently celebrated her first birthday. Since then, she’s been exclusively breastfed, which means it takes quite a toll on my body.’
Yet Lauryn admitted she hasn’t found it hard dealing with her physical appearance post baby.
The celebrity admitted, “I consider myself quite fortunate. I’m a quick learner and adaptable… the kind that leaves you scratching your head, wondering, ‘How on earth did you manage that in just two weeks?’
‘I used to go to the gym a lot before, so I think it is one of those – muscle memory.’
In the midst of being a bustling mother of two, Lauryn confessed that she’s been too swamped to rejoin the gym. Instead, she maintains her fitness by chasing after her kids.
Due to having two energetic little ones at home, especially Kairo who loves football, my daily routine often includes playing the game. Consequently, I find that my lifestyle keeps me in good physical condition.
“At present, I can’t make time for the gym, as I used to exercise five days a week. However, I plan to return to the gym once I sort out my life and figure out what my schedule looks like.
She added: ‘There is a lot of moving parts when you have young kids. Kairo has classes during the day – he has gymnastics…loads of stuff. It is the same with my daughter.
Instead of conforming to their ways, I prefer focusing on nurturing my kids, helping them develop remarkable skills as individuals.
Lauryn also admitted she had a bit of an identity crisis when she first became a mum, but wasn’t as affected the second time.
