Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is famed for his flair for interior design and extravagant makeovers.
The renowned expert in interior design, aged 60, dwells in an expansive, elegant mansion located within the picturesque region of the Cotswolds. Over several months, they’ve been meticulously revamping this residence to create an ideal living space tailored for their family.
In the primary residence, we find Lawrence and his spouse, Jackie, both aged 60, living together. Additionally, their daughter Hermione, who is 27 years old, lives there with her husband Drew (also 28 years old). Their family includes Romilly, a toddler of two years, and Eleanora, an 18-month-old baby.
The family, comprising Cecile (aged 30), her spouse Dan (also 30), along with their kids Albion (8 years old) and Demelza (3), reside in a renovated garage complex, located just beyond the gravel pathway.
Now, he’s shared a unique behind-the-scenes peek into the designer’s personal abode, showcasing his playful and unconventional creations.
Through many of his unique designs derived from his own partnerships and publicly available collections, we at DailyMail are now unveiling where these exquisite home items can be purchased and the prices associated with them.

Laurence created a cozy reading area equipped with two vibrant, two-person sofas in an eye-catching orange hue.
The sculpture of Jackie by Paul Kessler, a wedding gift to the Llewelyn-Bowens in 1989, is positioned in front of a windowsill adorned with a portrait bust.
The area is subsequently adorned with a rug from Laurence’s Privé collection for Royal Thai, featuring a blue and white print.
In the corner opposite the room, Lawrence put up a large bookshelf, complete with a library ladder from the Library Ladder Company.
There is also a secret cocktail cabinet concealed behind a hinged painting.
The inside of the bookcases has been painted in Albany Dune Sea sourced from Brewers.
The garden hallway connects to the drawing room, where you’ll find a tribute to Lawrence’s vibrant Cotswold garden reflected in the vivid hues of cushions and rugs offered by House Llewelyn-Bowen through Next.
Their white table lamp, which has an ivory silk lampshade, is also sourced from the same shop.

Jackie and Laurence’s recently updated kitchen in a dual-tone duck egg blue, reminiscent of an Orangery, is now part of an extension skillfully crafted by Conservatory And Window.
The kitchen hails from the latest LLB Quintessential kitchen series, dubbed Cuisine, and pays tribute to its designer’s passion for exquisite cuisine and global travels, while also evoking a cozy, nostalgic feel reminiscent of kitchens from their 1970s childhood.
The eye-catching ‘Festivo’ LLB vinyl flooring, drawn from a recent journey to Andalucia, can be purchased at Harvey Maria.
LLB Gordon’s Green Shutterly Fabulous shutters serve as a distinctive element, replacing the usual doors in his design.
The kitchen cupboards feature stylish gold handles, which he sourced from Hendle & Hendle.
Jackie and Lawrence’s freshly transformed Drawing Room now graces the space where the old kitchen once stood. The striking green wall mural, expertly crafted by WallSmiths, features designs inspired by LLB’s artwork.
The print is vibrant, featuring an eye-catching floral motif that harmoniously matches his antique cabinets and custom-made carpets.
The room has been enhanced with a contemporary window design, as he fitted shutters from the LLB collection at Shutterly Fabulous, located in Gordon’s Green.

Jackie and Laurence’s bright dining area, featuring an expansive eight-person dining table, directly leads out to the garden terrace.
Lawrence employed adaptable trimming to infuse architectural allure into both the ceiling and the wall mural, dubbed “Palm Court,” which incorporates design elements reminiscent of vintage area rugs as its inspiration.
He adorned his Palm Court wall with a mural to enhance the feeling of spaciousness and brightness, playfully suggesting that he was personally reviving the trend of ’80s wallpaper borders.
The room that used to serve as a guest bedroom has undergone a makeover, now sporting a decorative theme inspired by the romantic Arcadian landscapes found in LLB’s archives on the walls, complemented by a custom-designed fitted carpet from LLB.
The pale blue landing is tied together with a dark brown oak chest of drawers and bright red lamps.
The design includes customized cupboards from Caple, adorned with architectural prints. These hidden cupboards house the washing machine, dryer, laundry sink, and a drying cabinet.
A compact bathroom situated along the upstairs hallway has transformed into an exquisite Renaissance gem, adorned with four enchanting paintings by LLB that are displayed behind acrylic panels by Wallsmiths.
Gala fittings from TJM Direct and a Karndean floor was installed to complete the unique look.
The bedroom is inspired by the LLB’s travels and is ‘their ultimate boutique hotel room’.
The Vaccannes pattern used throughout features elements from all their favourite places.
Custom-made rug by Wendy Morrison and vintage pelmets sourced from Terry’s Fabrics adorn the Vaccannes blinds of LLB, while LLB’s Cinnibar shutters serve as a finishing touch to the overall aesthetic.
Wall lights with a Hollywood Regency style, imported from Los Angeles, add an air of glamour. Meanwhile, the rich red frames adorning the collection of Venetian artworks accentuate the travel-inspired exotic theme in cinnabar hue.
In the bathroom, TJM Direct’s gala fittings and marbled tiles maintain the luxurious boutique aesthetic, with red, floral window coverings from Terry’s Fabrics adding to this elegant decor.
Today, a section of the house built in the 1640s serves as the residence for Hermione, her spouse Drew, and their daughters Romilly and Eleanora.

In this setting, a blend of soothing blues and greens has been thoughtfully chosen to provide a tranquil, functional backdrop for lively family life.
LLB designed the hedgerovia fabric, which is now available from Terry’s Fabrics.
The window seats got a coat of paint in the shade of Albany Dune Sea, courtesy of Brewers. For the grey, weathered-looking wall decor, he obtained it from Galerie Home.
Although Lawrence meticulously tailored each corner of his house to showcase family mementos, he’s now disclosed that he no longer holds ownership of the property.
He clarified that he had transferred two-thirds of his extensive country estate in the Cotswolds to his two sons-in-law.
To The Sunday Times, Laurence casually remarked, “Now I’m not the one in charge at the manor,” when discussing his unusual living situation.
Hermione shared that surprisingly, neither she nor Cecile are named on the property deeds. However, they still inherit the property, as it’s actually owned by their husbands.
Later on, Laurence shared that one of the funniest situations was meeting with a lawyer to determine if Jackie and he were being forced into it due to bullying from their sons-in-law.
‘Our friends just can’t believe it. They go, “what happens if you all fall out?”‘
Yet Hermione explained that while they bicker all the time, they simply have to ‘get over it’.
Sharing the reason behind his current decision to transfer his property, Lawrence – with an approximate wealth of eight million pounds – expressed: “We don’t want to become those elderly individuals hoarding a large fortune. It’s quite sad and isolating.
‘Though we have many possessions, they don’t truly enrich our lives. Despite our considerable privilege, we’ve chosen this path. We’ve deliberately created this life for ourselves.’

After confessing in January about experiencing a “life-ending crisis” following a close brush with death on the Netflix series Bear Hunt, his decision to review and reorganize his financial situation and assets was made subsequently.
Last May, while filming in Costa Rica, Laurence joined other famous individuals in a water challenge that required them to dive off a boat into the river.
However, he became entangled in a bungee rope and got stuck underneath the boat.
During a few tense moments, he was forcefully submerged underwater. It took several minutes that felt like forever until the safety team managing the stunt successfully rescued him, after which he fainted.
