Lauren Sanchez made a striking impression as Paris Haute Couture week began, attending the Schiaparelli fashion show from a front-row seat.

The 56-year-old made a striking appearance in a bright red suit as she arrived with her husband, billionaire Jeff Bezos. They were heading to a presentation, the first of nearly 50 scheduled to take place over four days in Paris.

Wearing matching red heels, Sanchez easily stood out as she chatted with other guests before going inside.

Continuing her unique style, the former journalist chose a striking silver handbag decorated with gold details, and shaped like a face.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, 62, chose a simple black suit, shirt, and polished leather Chelsea boots for the event, coordinating with his wife’s style.

Last June, the couple got married on the beautiful Italian island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The wedding was a three-day event with guests including celebrities like Ivanka Trump, Oprah Winfrey, and Kim Kardashian.

The wedding celebration, estimated to have cost around $20 million and lasted several days, featured a foam party on Jeff Bezos’ yacht, an extravagant pre-wedding dinner, and a celebratory lunch at the famous Harry’s Bar.

Ellie Goulding sang at the wedding reception, and Usher performed at a fun, pajama-themed brunch the following day.

The newlyweds exchanged vows in a beautifully renovated amphitheater on the island. The bride, Sanchez, wore a stunning, long-sleeved lace Dolce & Gabbana gown that required over 900 hours of work to create, according to Vogue.

There was a strict no-phone policy and around 70 of the 200 guests were family members.

Bezos proposed to Sanchez two years before their wedding, doing so privately on his $500 million yacht.

In December, Sanchez celebrated her birthday with her high-profile celebrity pals.
