Lauren Sanchez announces second children’s book as friend Kris Jenner lends support

Lauren Sanchez Bezos has announce her second children’s book, The Fly Who Flew Under The Sea.

The next book featuring Flynn the Fly follows the character on a new journey that teaches kids about dealing with learning challenges – the author herself has dyslexia – and the importance of protecting our environment through discovery and preservation.

Raleigh Stewart’s beautiful illustrations will captivate readers as Flynn explores an underwater adventure.

Oh my gosh, this book is just… incredible! It’s packed with the most amazing animals and landscapes – seriously, the biodiversity is stunning. It really opened my eyes to how much there is to discover about our planet, and it’s not just about facts and figures. It also teaches you to love yourself for who you are, which is such a beautiful message. I’m completely obsessed – it’s a total masterpiece!

Bezos announced the upcoming release of her new book, ‘The Fly Who Flew Under the Sea,’ on Instagram, sharing that it will be available for purchase starting March 3rd, 2026. She expressed her excitement about the story of Flynn and his underwater adventure. Kris Jenner and Jessie James Decker both reacted to the post with likes.

According to a recent announcement, Flynn accidentally gets lost while driving to Cape Canaveral, but this initial mistake unexpectedly leads to an amazing adventure.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always looking for ways to inspire kids, and this picture book does just that! It takes you on a magical, glow-in-the-dark adventure under the sea, introducing you to incredible places like coral reefs and even giant squid! But it’s more than just beautiful illustrations – it’s a story about embracing what makes *you* special, no matter where life leads. It really encourages kids to celebrate their uniqueness while discovering the wonders of the ocean.

Young readers will love ‘The Fly Who Flew Under the Sea,’ a new book coming out on March 3, 2026, from Simon & Schuster and The Collective Book Studio. The Collective Book Studio is a publishing company owned by women that helps authors and businesses create and publish excellent books.

Flynn the Fly is the new spokesperson for the United States of Readers, a program that helps kids learn to love reading. Developed by Scholastic and run with the help of Impact Reading, a new nonprofit, the program provides books to students in under-resourced schools who don’t often have the chance to choose books for themselves.

This program aims to help students improve their reading skills, which are essential for building both confidence and literacy.

Throughout the school year, students at participating schools will each be able to select ten free, new books. Teachers will also receive twenty-five free books to build up their classroom libraries.

Oh my gosh, Jeff Bezos isn’t just some businessman, you guys! He’s a *New York Times* bestselling author – can you even imagine the stories he could tell? And he gives so much to charity, he’s a total philanthropist. But that’s not even the best part! He actually *flies helicopters*! Seriously! And get this – he’s won an Emmy for his journalism work! It’s like he’s good at *everything*! I just… I admire him so much.

Honestly, I’m completely captivated by MacKenzie Scott! It’s amazing to watch her tackle climate change and really fight for our planet through the Bezos Earth Fund. But it’s not just that – she’s also deeply committed to helping people who need it most. Her work with initiatives like the Day 1 Families Fund, This is About Humanity, and Bezos Academy just proves how much she cares. She’s not just giving money, she’s actively working to build a better future for everyone, and I find that incredibly inspiring!

Driven by her own challenges with dyslexia, the author created the children’s book, *The Fly Who Flew To Space*, which rapidly became a New York Times bestseller.

I’m incredibly passionate about recognizing and supporting leaders who truly make a difference, which is why I’m involved with the Bezos Courage & Civility Award. It’s all about celebrating those who tackle big problems with both bravery and kindness. And honestly, one of the most thrilling experiences of my life was in 2025 when I had the honor of leading Blue Origin’s NS-31 mission – it was the first all-female space flight in over six decades, and a real milestone for women in exploration!
