According to a source, she requested that they decline any involvement with KIIS for the upcoming months. The objective appears to be preventing Kyle and Jackie O from entering the Byron Bay location, where she plays a significant role, as reported by Daily Mail Australia.

If Lauren manages to persuade those stars to decline an interview with Kyle and Jackie O, it would be a significant edge. This is particularly important given that KIIS is known for hosting many A-list celebrities.

Until now, Kyle and Jackie O’s radio show has stood alone as the only one regularly featuring top-tier celebrities as guests.

However, if Lauren manages to persuade the Hemsworths and their entire social circle in Byron Bay to avoid KIIS, her authentic ties with the celebrity group could potentially disrupt their monopoly.

It came to light that Phillips was expanding her network of high-profile acquaintances as she attended glitzy gatherings alongside her fiance, Paul O’Brien – a businessman who transports celebrities across Australia via his private aviation service.

She recently went to the wedding of Luke Zocchi, a close friend and trusted assistant to Chris Hemsworth.

In the fifth GFK radio survey of 2024, Jase and Lauren clinched the top position. Their audience expanded by 0.3 points, resulting in a commanding 9.9% share. This put them comfortably ahead of Kyle and Jackie O, whose share was noticeably lower at 6.1%.

Although initially anticipated that the KIIS FM provocateurs would achieve their top ranking in Sydney among Melbourne listeners, it turns out they are merely the fifth most popular breakfast show in Melbourne.
