Lauren Goodger Fuels Reconciliation Rumors with Ex Charles Drury Amid Heartbreak and Loneliness

On Tuesday, Lauren Goodger fueled speculation about reconciling with her ex-partner Charles Drury on TikTok, marking three years since their controversial incident involving assault.

Originally, the ex-pair, who have a four-year-old named Larose, participated in a live TikTok session together with fellow TOWIE members Junaid Ahmed and Joe Blackman. During this gathering, they engaged in lively conversation.

For the first time in over a year, Lauren was spotted in public with Charles, although they were in different houses during the recording of the video.

Last year Lauren opened up about the struggles she’s faced co-parenting with Charles.

Three months following the birth of her first child Larose in 2021, Lauren found herself expecting another baby, filled with joy at the prospect of becoming a mother for a second time.

In the year 2022, she sadly delivered her daughter Lorena who had her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck at birth.

At the time of the funeral, Charles faced allegations of attacking Lauren, leading to their immediate separation. Subsequently, Charles was indicted for assault and abusive behavior towards Lauren, a charge he denies.

After Lauren decided to no longer back the case, it led to an acquittal decision because there was insufficient evidence.

In other places, their up-and-down relationship wasn’t always peaceful for the pair, and Charles faced allegations of infidelity as well.

After Lauren confessed that she felt extremely lonely, it was during her conversation with TopMob where she discussed the strained bond she has with her family and their difficult relationship.

As a lifestyle expert, I can confidently say that I’ve been feeling more self-assured and joyful since my return to work and my involvement in the exciting new collaboration with HL London on my clothing line. However, like many single parents, there are moments when I find myself grappling with the challenges that come with raising a child alone.

In a heartbreaking admission, Lauren said: ‘I’m so lonely, I will say that. I’m very lonely.

I’m fortunate to have Larose, and I couldn’t be happier about it. She’s like a mini best friend to me, but I still require someone for support in times of need.

Constantly, I find myself being robust, perpetually acting as a mother figure, and sadly, there’s no one to rely on in my life. It’s quite unfortunate. My familial bonds aren’t particularly strong or supportive.

In a straightforward manner, let me rephrase that for you: “I’m not criticizing or speaking negatively about them, but I want to express my honest feelings. Frankly, I can’t help but admit that I often feel quite lonely as I handle things on my own.

‘I have got good friends but they have their own lives to deal with.’

2022 saw Lauren disclose that she felt forsaken by her family, as everyone seemingly cut ties with her after their lives parted ways following Lorena’s passing.

However, Lauren said her elder sister Nicola is the one always on hand for support.

She added: ‘When It comes to family, they just think I’ve got it all.

‘They’ll be really upset if they heard me say it but I done a podcast talking about it.

In tough times after losing Lorena, they were a constant support. However, since my recent breakup, I’ve found myself navigating life more independently.

I suspect they might not grasp the nature of what I’m saying, rather than intentionally disregarding it. After all, I’ve been immersed in this field for 16 long years, so I would hope they could understand given their own experience.
