Laura Woods reveals ‘terrifying’ stalker sent letters telling her ‘tonight you die’ before turning up at her home in ‘relentless’ two-year campaign of harassment

Laura Woods has publicly shared her experience with a two-year stalking campaign by Harneet Kaur, an obsessed football fan. This is the first time she’s spoken about the ordeal.

The 38-year-old TNT sports presenter said she lived in constant fear due to a two-year campaign of harassment that started in June 2021 and ended in September 2023.

Before arriving home, Laura remembered receiving unsettling birthday cards that jokingly said, ‘Today is your birthday, and tonight is the night you’ll die.’

She described how Kaur called the police and reported that a man with a knife had forced his way into the celebrity’s London home, dragging her inside.

While I was reporting on the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois fight in Poland in 2023, I received an email during a live broadcast. It contained a video of my front door and a message stating, “I know you have three cameras inside your house.”

I reviewed all the video recordings to check for anyone inside, and it was frightening. She seemed to be attempting to reach me in any way imaginable.

Kaur, a Liverpool fan known online as ‘Krazy Harns’, also sent threatening messages to Laura, including a promise to harm her dog. She also had a Bible and a sexual health test kit delivered to Laura’s home.

Laura explained to The Telegraph that she received a constant stream of unwanted messages – from dating sites to spam – and was baffled by how one person could be behind it all.

Last February, Kaur received a 14-month jail sentence and a restraining order. This order prohibited contact with Laura and 14 other individuals, and prevented Kaur from coming within 500 meters of Laura’s home.

Liverpool Football Club banned Kaur, who has autism, from their Anfield stadium after she was caught selling tickets illegally. Her lawyer explained that her autism causes intense fixations and compulsive behaviors, which led to her breaking the rules.

Prosecutors told the court that Laura was genuinely frightened by the events and had to improve security at both her home and workplace as a result.

Laura recently shared a touching video celebrating her relationship with fiancé Adam Collard, 30, bringing him to tears. The video came after the couple welcomed their first child in January.

She was thinking about how their relationship had developed, starting with when she first saw him on the reality show Love Island back in 2018.

The video started with her watching the show and tweeting: ‘In 2018 you’ll see a TV show with a very tall, very attractive warning sign…’ – a reference to his womanizing behavior on the program.

The video continued by showing highlights from their relationship, including sweet moments with their baby, Leo, and footage of their engagement.

With emotional music playing in the background, she wrote in her post: ‘Make sure you give him another chance in five years…’

Adam responded lovingly, saying ‘It’s just us four against the world, I love you!’ He jokingly added, ‘Wow, I’m not the one crying here!’ and included a laughing emoji.

The TV presenter replied: ‘I definitely am hahahaha xx’

She shared the post only a day after returning to television. She hadn’t been on air since unexpectedly collapsing during a live broadcast, but she hosted TNT Sports’ coverage of the Manchester City versus Real Madrid game on Wednesday night.

While presenting ITV4’s coverage of the Lionesses’ game against Ghana at St Mary’s Stadium on December 2nd, the well-known presenter suddenly became unwell and fell forward.

Ian Wright, a famous former Arsenal player, and pundit Anita Asante quickly stepped in to help a colleague before the broadcast cut away, causing concern for those watching.

Laura shared good news after the incident, confirming she was healthy and had received treatment. Katie Shanahan filled in as presenter that night.

That was a little strange, and I apologize for causing everyone concern, but I’m alright. The paramedics at Saints believe it’s likely a virus, so I just need to rest and drink plenty of fluids, I shared.

Adam shared on X that Laura is doing okay and is with people who can care for her, and he expressed gratitude for everyone’s supportive messages.
