Laura Woods surprised her fiancé, Adam Collard, with a touching video highlighting their relationship, bringing him to tears on Thursday.
The sports presenter, who is 38 years old, and her partner, a star from Love Island who is 30, had their first child in January.
Just days after collapsing on live television, Laura was thinking about her relationship and how it began when she first saw him on Love Island back in 2018.
The video started with her watching the show and tweeting: ‘In 2018, you’ll see a TV show with a very tall, very attractive warning sign…’ – a reference to his womanizing behavior on the program.
The video continued by showing highlights from their relationship, including sweet moments with their baby, Leo, and footage of their engagement.
You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about relationships lately, and I saw this really touching post online. The woman sharing it wrote, with some beautiful, emotional music in the background, ‘Five years from now, please, really give him another chance.’ It just struck me as such a powerful reminder to not give up on love too easily, and to always be open to revisiting connections. It’s a lovely sentiment, isn’t it?

Adam responded lovingly, saying ‘It’s just us four against the world, I love you.’ He playfully added, ‘Wow, I’m not the one crying here!’ and included a laughing emoji.
The TV presenter replied: ‘I definitely am hahahaha xx’
She shared the post only a day after returning to television. She hadn’t been on air since a sudden health scare during a live broadcast, but she hosted TNT Sports’ coverage of the Manchester City versus Real Madrid game on Wednesday evening.
While hosting ITV4’s coverage of the Lionesses’ game against Ghana at St Mary’s Stadium on December 2nd, the well-known presenter suddenly became unwell and fell forward.
Ian Wright, a famous former Arsenal player, and pundit Anita Asante quickly intervened when a colleague seemed unwell on camera, prompting concern from those watching.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE what happened! Laura was suddenly taken off the air, and Katie Shanahan had to fill in! But thankfully, Laura quickly shared that she’s okay! She said she got some treatment and is doing really well, which is such a relief! I was so worried, but hearing that directly from her made my day!
Wow, things got a little scary there for a moment! I was so worried, but thankfully, she’s okay. She shared that the amazing paramedics at Saints think it’s probably just a virus, and she needs some rest and fluids. Such a relief to hear!
Adam shared on X that Laura is doing alright and is with people who can take care of her. He also expressed gratitude for everyone’s supportive messages.
I always look forward to seeing Reshmin Chowdhury on TV! She’s a familiar face presenting the Champions League coverage on ITV and TNT Sports, and she does a fantastic job keeping us up-to-date with all the action.

The presenter welcomed her son, Leo, in January and took a leave of absence before returning to work in April.
After starting to date in October 2023, Collard—who previously appeared on the reality shows Love Island and Celebrity SAS, and is known for being outspoken—and Woods publicly announced they were a couple.
They got engaged in September 2024 after the 30-year-old proposed on a beach in St Ives, Cornwall.
In August, Laura shared the difficult news of her miscarriage and explained how thinking about her baby, Leo, helped her cope.
Laura experienced a miscarriage after eleven weeks of pregnancy, but thankfully became pregnant again just a month later. She and her partner were thrilled to welcome their son, Leo.
Adam recently became emotional on Celebrity SAS, sharing the story of their miscarriage. Now, Laura has opened up about the incredibly difficult period they went through as a couple.
Laura shared a video of Adam from the show on Instagram, writing about how he helped her through a difficult year. She expressed immense pride in watching him succeed on the program.

She also shared that while grieving the loss of her previous baby, her son Leo has brought her a lot of comfort.
She admitted that sometimes when she looks at her son, Leo, she thinks about the child she lost, but also realizes Leo wouldn’t exist if that hadn’t happened.
It was a really upsetting experience. A kind nurse at the hospital explained it by saying that sometimes a baby isn’t meant to stay, and this was the way things were protecting me.
That thought was genuinely comforting to me, and I wanted to share it with anyone else who might be going through the pain of miscarriage. Sending you all my love.
