Laura Carmichael and Michael C. Fox have married in secret.

In the year 2021, the actors portraying Lady Edith and Andrew Parker (from Downton Abbey) who became acquainted during the fifth season of the ITV program, welcomed their very first baby to their family.

And now Michael, 36, has confirmed they have also tied the knot in recent years.

In an interview for the NBC special marking the end of Downton Abbey, Michael expressed his gratitude by saying: “Much of my life has been influenced by this series. I’ve built a significant part of myself around it.

In a different turn of phrase, co-star Lesley Nicol posed this question to the couple: “Suppose someone told you that you would meet your future wife and father a child. That’s quite transformative, wouldn’t you agree?

Michael gushed: ‘I know. It’s incredible.’

It appears that since they began dating in 2016, Michael and Laura have remained silent regarding any updates about their potential marriage.

At the premiere of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale in London, Laura was noticed wearing a stunning ring on her wedding finger during their latest joint appearance.

Laura donned an unusual black-and-white lace dress and walked alongside her partner Michael, who was smartly attired in a black jacket.

The stars came together to mark the end of the much-loved Downton Abbey television show, which spanned an impressive 15 years and was followed by three films.

The couple, who usually keep their personal life private, welcomed their son Luca about 14 months earlier, as was revealed publicly in May 2022.

According to a source, it was reported in The Sun on Sunday that Laura and Michael were overjoyed with parenthood and appreciated the break from public scrutiny to savor the moment.

While maintaining privacy about their relationship, Laura couldn’t help but express her joy and good fortune in meeting Michael on the Downton Abbey set.
