On Wednesday evening, Laura Byrne proudly displayed her growing belly alongside Brittany Hockley at the debut of Mitch Churi’s latest podcast.
At the debut of The Mitch Churi Chat Show in Sydney, the pregnant co-host of Life Uncut and her fiancé Matty J’s third child on the way, shone brightly in a long, brown dress that accentuated her expanding belly.
She complemented her sophisticated appearance with a sleek gray handbag and neatly pulled back her long tresses. Radiating beauty, she confidently stood side by side with Mitch.
In the meantime, Brittany maintained an air of casual elegance, wearing a white off-shoulder blouse, blue denims, and sharp white pumps.
The brunette beauty struck a playful pose alongside her podcast partner and long-time friend.
Mitch showcased his signature humor on the bright-yellow carpet, overacting in a green Adidas tracksuit while Laura and Brittany joyfully laughed alongside him for the benefit of photographers.

At Midtown Bar & Lounge, the event signified a significant change in Mitch’s professional path, as he, aged 28, decided to transition from his radio job to devote himself fully to podcast creation as an individual content provider.
In the digital era, The Mitch Churi Chat Show is set to release two times per week. It offers open, authentic conversations with celebrities, coupled with a diverse panel discussing the most impactful pop culture events of the week.
Mitch shared that having a talk show has long been a personal ambition of his. He mentioned that this podcast is fulfilling a niche he recognized during his time in radio, comparing it to a blend of “Call Her Daddy” and “The Graham Norton Show,” but tailored for an Australian audience.
The episodes are planned to be published in various formats: as an audio podcast, a comprehensive video series on YouTube, and concise versions ideal for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Mitch’s latest business endeavor happened shortly following his unexpected dismissal from KIIS FM, an event that took him by surprise.
Since 2019, he has been the host of “The Night Show” featuring Mitch Churi, and also serves as a co-host on “The Pick Up,” sharing duties with Laura and Brittany.
He shared with his audience during a recent broadcast that he learned towards the end of last week that his position here wouldn’t be renewed after 2025, causing him great distress.
Mitch then revealed he was blindsided by the decision and he wished it hadn’t come to this.

As a devoted admirer, I simply wish to express that my departure from the show was not a choice I made on my own. My heart yearned for the continued camaraderie with both of you, and my desire to remain part of the KIIS family was profound.
In a supportive turn, Laura chimed in to express that both she and Brittany wholeheartedly backed Mitch and wished him great success in his future endeavors.
‘This is not what we want for the show. It’s a decision that has been made out of our control.
Laura expressed that Britt and she will need to carry on with the performance, but they’re deeply saddened as you won’t be there,” is a more natural and easier-to-read paraphrase of the original statement.
‘You are not only our co-host, but also one of our best friends,’ Brittany chipped in.
At Mitch’s goodbye event at the KIIS FM studio in Sydney, both Laura and Brittany were spotted standing next to him, grinning broadly, while he held a bunch of flowers with a radiant smile on his face.
The gallery was titled with touching phrases: ‘Today marks our final performance of the year, and it’s also our last one as a trio featuring the extraordinary, comedic, magnificent, and fiery performer Mitch Churi.’
‘It has been one of the biggest privileges of my career to sit across the desk from this funny man.

We’re incredibly proud of you, Mitch! We can’t wait to cheer you on from the front row at your stand-up show in 2025. No second thoughts allowed!
‘We love you Mitch,’ they added.
After that point, Mitch has made a significant comeback, boasting an impressive collection of work. Notably, he now serves as a representative for the streaming titan Stan, rubbing shoulders with some of the globe’s most prominent celebrities.
Brittany and Laura have been among Mitch’s biggest cheerleaders throughout his career shake-up.
Last year during his farewell at KIIS, they referred to him as “one of our closest allies” and promised to stand by him continually.
Attending the premiere of The Mitch Churi Chat Show confirmed their support for him, as they were seen alongside him – a clear demonstration of their commitment to his latest and most challenging endeavor.
Boasting over 220 million views from his popular celebrity interviews that went viral, Mitch aims to solidify himself as one of the most entertaining Australian radio personalities with his latest podcast venture.
