Laura Byrne reveals why she was forced to hide third pregnancy from husband Matty ‘J’ Johnson for months – as she shows off baby bump in glamorous photo shoot

Laura Byrne is expecting her third child with husband Matty ‘J’ Johnson.

2017 saw the contestant from The Bachelor who crossed paths with Matty on the successful reality show, find themselves in an unusual predicament: they couldn’t share their exciting news with their spouse because at that very moment, the spouse was engaged in filming I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia, deep within the South African jungle.

During filming, the reality show personality was without a phone or connections to the wider world, which meant that Laura had to navigate the initial phase of her pregnancy on her own.

Laura informed Stellar Magazine that she discovered, approximately three to four days later, that Matt no longer had his phone with him. At that point, he was already on his way to South Africa.

In my own words,

I sent him farewell messages over text and that was our last contact. He became unreachable. Around the 10th week, I discovered I was expecting. This was a secret of monumental proportions that I had to keep to myself.

Matt clarified: ‘I found out upon my return, as I had no idea about the happenings at home.’

During the same time, Laura also displayed her pregnancy elegantly in a stylish photoshoot at home with her family. In the pictures, she was joined by her husband and their two lovely daughters, Marlie-Mae, aged six, and Lola, who is four years old.

It comes after Laura shared a heartwarming tribute to Matty as he celebrated his 38th birthday.

Earlier this month, she shared a series of adorable and amusing photos on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt message praising her husband who is a popular radio personality.

On my birthday, I’d like to extend heartfelt wishes to this magnificent pillar of fatherhood, the unsung hero of our household and the gentleman who believes in the unconventional charm of budgie smugglers as his summer uniform. Here’s to you, my dear husband, turning another year older!

She humorously wrote, ‘We couldn’t find our way without your daily humor, your commitment to filling the compost bin, and your top-notch chicken pies every time.’

Just like a fine wine, you seem to be getting better with time (check out photo 17 as evidence). It’s such a privilege to live life alongside you. We truly cherish you.

Recently, Laura created a stir when she publicly corrected her podcast-host husband who inadvertently disclosed the name of their upcoming daughter during a live broadcast.

Last month, I found myself engrossed as my beloved reality star hosted an “AMA” session on her Instagram story. Amidst the flurry of questions, one follower dredged up a moment that, surprisingly, seemed to have slipped my idol’s memory.

Did you hit Matt, because he disclosed your baby’s name on Two Doting Dads?” (This version maintains the original meaning while using more common and less medical language for ‘ovaries’. The question is still clear and easy to understand.)

Laura was clearly caught off-guard as she replied: ‘He did f***ing what?!’

Later on, the business owner brought up the blunder with her husband as they lay in bed together.

In a clip shared on her Instagram story, she questioned Matt: “Did you mention the names of the girl and the baby during your podcast?

He looked at his partner confused as he denied the accusation.

‘I think you might have,’ she told him, cheekily.

He emphatically stated, “I’d absolutely never say that,” sounding a bit on edge as they both chuckled.

In a conversation with the camera, Laura expressed this: “Often, people inquire about how we determine boundaries when narrating tales and other content on our podcast. Typically, we’re quite adept at it… Generally speaking.

Matty began to pipe up as he sported a giant smile on his face, clearly telling a fib.

He stated, “Anyone disseminating this untruthful information should feel ashamed, for it holds no truth whatsoever.

It appears that Matty might have said the little girl’s name during the podcast, but it seems to have been removed or is no longer traceable in the final version due to potential reasons for future unavailability.

In April, Laura revealed on the podcast “Life Uncut,” which she hosts alongside fellow reality personality Brittany Hockley, that she is due to give birth to her third girl in October.
