Laura Anderson takes savage swipe at ex Gary Lucy as she spends Father’s Day alone with their daughter Bonnie – after claiming ‘co-parenting and financial support didn’t exist’
On Sunday, Laura Anderson once again expressed strong criticism towards her former partner Gary Lucy, as she celebrated Father’s Day without him, spending the day with their daughter Bonnie instead.
Previously on “Love Island,” a 36-year-old ex-contestant has a 21-month-old child with a 43-year-old former “Hollyoaks” actor, whom she separated from while pregnant. Following the birth of their daughter, they attempted to reconcile but ultimately went their separate ways permanently.
In simpler terms, Laura, who previously stated that co-parenting and financial assistance were non-existent, posted on her Instagram Stories expressing feelings of sadness for the child on Father’s Day.
She titled a video of herself, humorously offering a thumbs up, with the following comment: “A toast to all the single mothers who may feel down on Father’s Day.
Laura additionally posted a message expressing love for Father’s Day, seemingly adding a subtle nod as well: ‘Not just the great dads who are present and provide financial support, but your children adore you too.’

TopMob have contacted Gary Lucy’s reps for comment.
In January, Laura reflected on the previous year and remarked that it had been challenging for her, as she hadn’t anticipated taking on the role of a single parent.
She mentioned that Bonnie didn’t provide her with financial support, and she’s been facing difficulties every day.
In her post, Laura also pointed out some favorable aspects, such as getting acquainted with her new football player beau, Clark Robertson.
In response to a comment on her Instagram in July, Scottish television personality Laura asserted that Gar hadn’t met their daughter since early January.
‘As for your question, her father has not seen her since January 2nd. If you’d like to know more about his whereabouts, I would suggest addressing those inquiries to him directly as my actions are only within my control.’
A representative for Gary declined to comment when contacted by TopMob at the time.
In September, the actor, who has four children – two sons and two daughters with his former wife Natasha – finally addressed the issue publicly after an unkind comment was made about a heartwarming video featuring his elder daughter Bonnie interacting with her older brother.

As the temporary big brother for the day, I found myself… If this heartwarming experience doesn’t stir something deep within you, then I’m not sure what would. (First-person perspective)
The post was flooded with touching comments, yet a negative one caught Gary’s eye.
‘It’s interesting that you continue to share videos, yet she never appears,’ someone commented – however, the actor promptly retorted: ‘No, only you are the one who recognizes everyone else. It seems everyone else just appreciates a delightful video.’
I’ll temporarily restrict your access soon… after that, you can create a fresh email or Instagram account to continue monitoring my page from a less personal perspective.
He continued to comment, stating: “Of course she must be doing something with all the time she spends on people’s Instagram Live streams… I guess that’s why.” [Informal language]
As a lifestyle expert, I might rephrase that comment as follows: “It appears the Gary community is quite active today. Let him express himself freely; if you don’t appreciate his posts, simply unfollow or scroll past. After all, it’s his social media space, and he has every right to share what he finds interesting.” (End of rant.)
A few days ago, Laura responded to critics following criticism she received for vacationing in the Maldives without her child.
She quickly departed with her partner, Clark, and posted a string of bright, sunny photos from their enchanting vacation together.
Amidst the praise for the beautiful photos, one follower accused the reality star of neglecting her toddler.

‘Bonnie has abandoned us once more… I can’t fathom why anyone would willingly leave their child repeatedly so far away. But a brief vacation? Certainly!’
Laura promptly countered with, ‘Could you clarify this again for me?’ as a swarm of her supporters quickly jumped to her defense.
They labeled the critic as a ‘criticizer of mothers’ while they commended Laura for enjoying some well-earned personal time.
Firing back once more, Laura commented: ‘No one shames the dads.’
However, the original commenter doubled down, saying: ‘I will if it’s a dad doing it.
I am deeply dismayed when I witness fathers, including Bonnie’s and mine, who fail to treat their children with the respect and love they deserve. It is a shame not just for those specific fathers, but for all men, to neglect their responsibilities in this manner.
‘And I didn’t say shame on you. Just said you’d ditched the wee babe again.
I’m not shouting out announcements like a town crier, but I’m simply pointing out that children are being taken care of by others while you go traveling once more.
Later on, Laura made it clear to her followers that her absence was actually only spanning four days, during which she maintained frequent contact via video calls with her dear daughter.
