As someone who has been following this season of Strictly Come Dancing with bated breath, I have to say it was bittersweet to see Sam Quek leave the competition last night. The dance-off between her and Montell Douglas was a tough one, both putting on stellar performances that made me wish I could vote again and again.
Following a nerve-wracking contest where Pete, JB Gill, and Tasha were kept safe, the final showdown was between Sam and Montell on the dance floor.
Although both couples delivered exceptional acts, it was necessary for the judges to eliminate one pair, and they collectively decided to spare Montell.
Regardless of the unfavorable outcome, Sam expressed that she had relished the competition but was disheartened to depart, sharing with the judges that she believed she still had more to offer.
