Larry Emdur Offered $10 by Elderly Woman to Drop Pants—But His Cheeky Response Stuns Fans
On a playful note, Larry Emdur, the recipient of the Gold Logie award, recently posted on his social media platform about an amusing incident. He jokingly mentioned that an older lady had proposed a deal where she would give him $10 if he would lower his trousers.
The incident that’s being talked about happened as the well-known Channel Seven personality, who is 59 years old, was strolling through a park during his morning walk.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share this intriguing tale. You see, Larry mentioned that this mysterious individual had proposed to shell out some cash, all in the hopes of catching a glimpse of his unique tattoo – an artistic masterpiece showcasing the initials of last year’s Gold Logie nominees inscribed on his… umm, let’s just say, posterior region.
On The Morning Show the day following his victory at the TV awards, the well-loved figure, known for satirizing his celebrity status online, underwent a live tattooing of his lower back.
In the video, Larry appears to inform his audience that he successfully frightened away a woman. However, it’s later revealed that he was actually holding a ten-dollar bill in his hand.
Good morning. Let me share something that gave me quite a start during my morning stroll, he mentioned in his Instagram post.

He added: ‘As I walked, an elderly woman, around 75-80 years old, approached me – it’s a peculiar experience, like being on live television.’
She then faced me and asked, “Would you display a $10-dollar bill if I see the Gold Logie tattoo on your lower back?” And how did I respond?
Larry then explained that the woman repeated her request.
‘And I said, ”You’re crazy” – you want me to drop my pants in a public park for $10?
Larry remarked, “I guess I must’ve spooked her, as she dashed away over there.” He gestured vaguely toward the distance.
Larry’s followers quickly showed their enthusiastic approval for his joke post.
‘Thank goodness you took the money!!’ one fan messaged.
‘This is GOLD,’ added another, while a third follower simply gushed, ‘Totally hilarious as always.’

In August, Larry garnered attention when he won his initial Logie Awards, taking home a Silver award during the 2021 event and securing the Gold award at the 2024 ceremony held at the Star in Sydney.
The following day, he found himself fulfilling an unusual vow from a week prior, exposing himself by removing his trousers on a live morning television show and having a tattoo inked onto his lower back.
On Monday, the host of The Morning Show discovered himself in an awkward situation, as he had another Gold Logie nominee’s initials tattooed onto his body permanently.
In the center of the breakfast studio, Larry was stretched out, facing downward, on a movable tattoo station, while Kylie Gillies observed him.
The unveiling of Larry’s tattoo depicted an illustration of a Logie Award with a television inside it, and within that television were the words ‘JM RI AK SK TA AL’.
Last Sunday evening, the letters represented the short forms of the fellow Gold Logie contenders whom Larry surpassed – they were Julia Morris, Robert Irwin, Asher Keddie, Sonia Kruger, Tony Armstrong, and Andy Lee.
The television personality has been a familiar figure on Australian screens since they were 19 years old, yet they’ve never previously claimed victory at the esteemed award showcase.
In an exceptional achievement, Larry clinched the title of the most beloved host by winning the Bert Newton Award during the Logies for the very first time.
