Lara and Sam Worthington are traveling the world to promote their new movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash, and people are noticing one common theme.
People started talking again on Tuesday when Lara appeared happy and glamorous at the Milan film premiere, but Sam looked unenthusiastic.
The 38-year-old model showed off her shape in a classic leather maxi dress by Balenciaga. The dress had a detailed top and a close-fitting design.
She pulled her hair back into a neat bun, completed the look with a bold red lipstick, and added a pair of high heels.
Forty-nine-year-old Sam, known for his role as Jake Sully in James Cameron’s films, looked serious while posing for photos with his wife, wearing a navy suit.
Recently, people have commented on the actor seeming downcast during interviews and promotional events. Many have shared their observations, particularly on the Daily Mail’s website, noting his unhappy facial expressions in photos.
‘He never smiles, the miserable git!!!’ one person wrote.
Another sarcastically quipped: ‘He looks fun at parties.’
‘Sam the smiler, nothing makes him happy,’ another added.
A fan criticized Sam Worthington online, writing, “Sam Worthington, always so grumpy! Crack a smile, you wouldn’t have a career without your fans!”

Over the past few weeks, Sam and their partner have been busy promoting Sam’s new movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash, making several public appearances.
At the Hollywood premiere last week, Lara stunned in a white Alaïa dress. Her husband matched the formality with a similarly stoic pose for the cameras.
A few days later, the famous pair attended the European premiere in Boulogne–Billancourt, France.
Lara turned heads in a delicate, lavender dress by Viktor Gichev, while Sam looked somber in a traditional suit, unable to manage even a small smile.
Lara and Sam began dating in 2013 after meeting at a festival held in New York’s Central Park.
They married the following year in an intimate ceremony in Melbourne, where Sam is from.
The couple share three sons: Rocket, 10, Racer, nine, and River, five.
