Landman trailer: Demi Moore is the fierce billionaire wife of oil man Jon Hamm in new series from Yellowstone creator

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in the entertainment industry, I must say that the upcoming series “Landman” has certainly piqued my interest. The trailer alone is enough to get anyone excited, with its stunning visuals and powerhouse cast led by Demi Moore and Jon Hamm.

The first trailer for the new series Landman dropped on Thursday morning.

The show is set in West Texas and is from Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone and Lioness.

Demi Moore takes center stage as the resilient, high-class billionaire spouse of Monty Miller, the stern oil magnate portrayed by Jon Hamm

As a devoted follower, I find myself recounting an event where a 61-year-old actress graced a gala dinner alongside Hamm, who was quite dashing in his suit and tie. Intriguingly, her words, ‘Roll the dice another time,’ hint at her strong influence within their marriage, as if to say she calls the shots

In the trailer, it’s Billy Bob Thornton who takes the lead role, and he’s the one you initially see and heirs the narration duties. His character works on an oil rig that detonates after he cautions about the danger of the business potentially taking his life

The show will premiere on November 17 on Paramount +. 

In the series “Landman,” Demi plays the strong and powerful spouse of Jon’s character, Monty Miller – an oil tycoon – amidst the bustling era of a 21st-century oil surge in Texas

Demi stated during a recent Vanity Fair interview that Cami is an individual who doesn’t engage in the business world, yet manages every aspect of their life. They are a duo who have jointly created an extensive empire and family

At some stage, Jon expressed to me that he believed it was his first role where his character was genuinely in a healthy relationship, one filled with genuine love, dedication, and affection. To this, she also remarked

Her main concern lies with her family and their social life. It’s about managing the highs and lows that keep them balanced, healthy, and secure

I can’t help but express my admiration for Taylor’s writing prowess. He crafts remarkable, multifaceted female characters who are both powerful and vulnerable, yet beautifully flawed – a true culinary delight for the mind!

Taylor adopts an extraordinary approach in his work, and whenever he interacts with actors, it goes something like this: We listen to their aspirations, their plans, and then we either agree or disagree depending on what they propose. Notably, there’s no script involved

In my expertise, I’d say: “I can attest that he’s always planning for more than the next trend. He’s crafting narratives that span beyond a single chapter, shaping an epic tale.”

In the series Landman, originally based on the 2019 podcast Boomtown, actors like Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter are among its main cast members

In a conversation with the media, Demi expressed, “Cami and Monty have accomplished their goal; they’ve achieved their dream. However, simply reaching that destination is different from maintaining it. I believe Billy will be the one who needs to handle the challenging tasks ahead.”

‘Billy and Ali, their dynamic is just going to be off-the-charts fantastic and kind of juicy.’

The series narrative outlines it as ‘a tale that unfolds both among the common workers and the wealthy tycoons, who are driving a massive expansion with such force that it’s transforming our environment, economy, and international relations.’

This ensemble features Michelle Randolph from the year 1923, Jacob Lofland who starred in ‘Joker 2’, Kayla Wallace known for ‘When Calls the Heart’, James Jordan recognized for his roles in ‘Yellowstone’ and ‘Lioness’, Mark Collie famed from ‘Nashville’, and Paulina Chávez, star of ‘The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia’

Andy Garcia (Expendables franchise) and Michael Peña (End of Watch) also serve as guest stars.
