To mark their first anniversary, Lana Del Rey has released previously unseen photos from her wedding in Louisiana to her husband, Jeremy Dufrene, who leads alligator tours.
The singer, age 40, shared personal photos from a recent date night with her husband in Los Angeles on her Instagram page Friday.
As a lifestyle expert, I always love hearing about couples who incorporate personal touches into their weddings! Last September, I learned about a beautiful wedding that took place right on the Louisiana bayou – a really special location because the groom, Jeremy, actually runs swamp boat tours there. It was such a meaningful spot for them to start their life together.
Only a month before the wedding, the singer of “Born To Die” publicly revealed their relationship.

Lana and her husband beamed at the camera; Lana was wearing her specially made wedding dress, and he was in a suit.
He leaned in and gently kissed her cheek, creating a tender and romantic moment, which was captured in another photo.
The wedding reception was held outside, and the newlyweds were playfully feeding each other cake.
Lana looked stunning in her made-to-order CINQ wedding dress, which featured an off-the-shoulder design with delicate lace and a flowing, full skirt.
She sat on the carpeted floor, her gown spreading out around her. Behind her, a dressing gown and a candelabra rested nearby.

She worked with Jack Antonoff, a frequent collaborator on albums like Norman Fing Rocket and Chemtrails Over The Country Club.
In a color photo, Lana was sitting on the floor wearing a striking dress, with two women who might have been her bridesmaids nearby.
The singer shared a photo of her birthday cake with fans. It was a two-layer cake with white frosting and a picture of a log cabin on the front.
The cake was decorated with delicate pink flowers, and ‘Jeremy and Lana’ was written across the bottom in green icing.
She showed off a full perfume bottle that had ‘Love on the Bayou 09.26.24’ written on one side.
Lana and Jeremy first crossed paths in 2019 at the Buku Music + Art Project festival in Louisiana.
And while in town, she decided to go on one of his swamp boat tours.
Last May, she went on tour and posted a photo with the caption, ‘Family with my guy @jeremy.dufrene.’
According to the Daily Mail, Lana and the other person were both single when they ran into each other again at Hangout Fest in May. Lana had returned to the area to perform.
He recognized the perfect moment and asked her on a date, and they’ve been a couple ever since. She’s always been attracted to men who are older than her.
Friends and colleagues of the star initially investigated his background because they were worried he might be taking advantage of her.
He’s successful and financially secure, so he doesn’t need Lana’s help. Everyone can see he treats her well and is very easygoing. He provides her with the qualities she wants in a partner and is a romantic at heart.
Okay, so I totally lost it when I found out they were together! It was just a month before their wedding, and I swear I almost died when pictures surfaced of them in London. She’d just finished performing at the Leeds Festival, and they were *seen together*! It felt like the moment everything became real, you know? I’ve been following both of them for ages, and to see them finally together… it was everything!
Lana and her father, Robert Grant, walked down the aisle at the wedding, which was held in Des Allemandes, Louisiana.
She wore a custom-made gown by CINQ and carried a bouquet of white flowers. The couple said their vows under a tent as the afternoon sun shone on them and their guests.
Afterwards, Lana and Jeremy strolled hand-in-hand towards the outdoor wedding reception.
I noticed Taylor styled her hair with a beautiful, light blue ribbon woven into her brunette locks – such a sweet touch for ‘something blue’ at her wedding! It was a really charming detail.
Lana discussed her marriage to Jeremy in an interview with W Magazine last August.
Jeremy has a naturally calm and confident demeanor, much like others who work with large, potentially dangerous animals, she explained.
I fell in love with him quickly after we met, but I knew there might be challenges due to my own situation.
Jeremy reassured her when she expressed her concerns, saying he was used to difficult situations – after all, he worked with alligators and wasn’t easily bothered.
The singer shared that her husband always keeps his promises. She explained that no matter how upset she got – and there were many times! – he would simply listen and reassure her to be herself, adding that he would love her even more for it.
Lana revealed that Jeremy is the most important person in her life. She described him as reserved in public, but very open and talkative with her.
The couple was recently seen on a casual date night at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.
The couple left the famous landmark in a white car and continued on to their next stop.
Lana smiled brightly from the passenger seat and briefly waved to fans who had gathered nearby by rolling down the window.
