Lady Gaga’s mysterious Wednesday Season 2 character is finally revealed in first look image

Fans were excited when Netflix unveiled an initial sneak peek of Lady Gaga portraying a secretive figure in the second season of Wednesday.

In a chilling yet captivating portrait, the celebrated figure, aged 39, was seen with a distinctive, anthropomorphic hand named Thing, resting on her shoulder.

In the upcoming days, the 14-time Grammy winner will be gracing the MTV VMAs stage once more and will also appear in the second act of the fresh season premiering on Wednesday.

Catch a glimpse of Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood, here’s her debut appearance, according to the official X Netflix series account, preceding the second part’s release on September 3.

So far, details about her character’s involvement in the upcoming season remain scarce, but it’s known that she will portray a teacher at Nevermore Academy. It is inevitable that the character played by Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Addams) will cross paths with this educator.

In the second half of season two, you’ll see Lady Gaga unveiling a brand-new tune called “The Dead Dance” specifically for this series.

Initially, the versatile individual presented with a striking image featuring lengthy, shimmering platinum-blonde spirals cascading over their shoulders and extending down their spine.

She wore a baby blue, silk blouse with frayed sleeves.

News soon broke out that the star, who had been absent for five years, would grace the MTV Video Music Awards stage once more, a highly anticipated event.

The world-touring superstar, whose Mayhem Ball Tour was a sellout, officially joined an illustrious list of performers this week.

On Saturday, the official Instagram account for the awards ceremony shared a post indicating there would be a magical atmosphere at the VMAs since Lady Gaga, also known as Mother Monster, was set to perform her newest songs on stage.

A diverse array of popular artists such as Doja Cat, Mariah Carey, Jelly Roll, Sabrina Carpenter, Post Malone, Tate McRae, and J Balvin (along with several others) are expected to perform at the upcoming event that she will be part of.

The MTV Video Music Awards is scheduled for September 7 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

The thrilling announcement follows close on the heels of the artist behind Abracadabra attending Jenna Ortega at Netflix’s Wednesday Graveyard Gala in New York City this week, prior to the release of their cameo in the second part of the popular series’ season two.

Previously, Lady Gaga graced the VMAs stage alongside Ariana Grande for a performance of their hit dance-pop collab, “Rain On Me”, back in 2020.

Apart from her eagerly awaited showcase, Lady Gaga is also likely to win several accolades at this year’s award event.

This year, the performer is at the top with a total of twelve nominations across various prestigious categories such as Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Best Album.

Gaga currently boasts 18 Video Music Awards victories, and her enthusiastic followers eagerly await additional awards for her this year.

This year also marks the third time that Gaga led MTV’s list of VMA nominees.

At the moment, Lady Gaga is performing her popular songs during her ongoing tour, which supports her seventh album titled “Mayhem”. This tour, known as the ‘Chaos Ball Tour’, began in Las Vegas way back in July.
