Lady Gaga turns heads in daring ensemble as she returns to the stage for the first time since revealing she suffered a ‘psychotic break’

Lady Gaga made a striking return to the stage, sporting a bold outfit after recently sharing that she experienced a mental health crisis.

Oh my gosh, she was absolutely incredible last night in Paris! Seriously, she’s 39 and still rocking a leotard like that – a gorgeous, off-white one, I might add – during the Mayhem Ball tour. Her legs looked amazing, and the whole performance was just… everything! I can’t stop thinking about it.

The singer’s outfit included a flowing detail on the side, and she completed the look with silver ankle boots to make her appear taller.

For her second outfit, the star wore a black leotard decorated with silver jewels, paired with fishnet stockings.

Gaga also sported a short black bob wig as she put on an animated display for her French fans.

The singer’s third look was a black mini dress paired with a coordinating leather jacket.

This follows Lady Gaga’s recent confession about the challenges she faced while filming ‘A Star Is Born,’ including relying on medication and experiencing a mental health crisis shortly after the movie wrapped.

The hugely successful 2018 film, which featured Bradley Cooper alongside Lady Gaga, instantly made her a major movie star. The movie received widespread critical acclaim, was nominated for eight Academy Awards, and won a Best Original Song Oscar for Gaga and Cooper’s popular song, ‘Shallow’.

But behind the scenes, Gaga said she was falling apart.

Following the announcement of seven Grammy nominations for her latest album, Mayhem, the singer shared with Rolling Stone magazine in its December issue that she was struggling emotionally during the making of the album’s accompanying film.

‘I did A Star Is Born on lithium,’ she frankly admitted.

According to the Mayo Clinic, this medication—often prescribed for bipolar disorder—is used to manage mania, a key symptom of the condition, and to help balance extreme mood swings between feeling very energetic or ‘manic’ and feeling down or depressed.

Daily Mail has not received a response to its request for comment from reps for Cooper.

Shortly after filming wrapped and during her Joanne tour, Lady Gaga experienced a severe mental health crisis, which she described as a ‘psychotic break‘.

‘There was one day that my sister said to me, “I don’t see my sister anymore,”‘ she recalled.

I ended the tour because I was struggling with my mental health. I actually had to go to the hospital for a day to get help, and I realized I desperately needed to rest and step away from everything. I was completely burned out.

It was a truly frightening experience, and there were moments I doubted I’d recover. I feel incredibly grateful to be alive. It might sound like an overstatement, but we understand the serious risks involved.

Now, Gaga says she’s finally found peace — and love.

The singer says her fiancé, Michael – a Harvard-educated entrepreneur she began dating around New Year’s Eve 2019 – has been a huge part of her healing process. They publicly confirmed their relationship in early 2020, and he proposed in April 2024.

She told Rolling Stone that finding love with someone who truly understood and cared for her as a person had a significant impact on her life.

But that self-discovery took work.

She wondered how she could truly be herself with another person when she hadn’t yet figured out how to be herself, period.

After years of struggle, Gaga now considers herself ‘a healthy, whole person.’

And in March, she released Mayhem — hailed as one of the greatest albums of her career.

‘It was months and months and months of rediscovering everything that I’d lost,” she explained.

I really believe that’s why it’s named Mayhem – the effort to recover it was completely chaotic.

Now, it appears the couple are focusing on building a family.

She shared with Rolling Stone that becoming a mother is her biggest dream, and she’s thrilled about her partner becoming a wonderful father. They’re both really looking forward to it.

Polansky chimed in and teased details about their wedding.

Oh my gosh, he said they’re constantly talking! Like, always! And these little breaks they take from everything? They’re driving him wild! He actually admitted he’s been thinking, ‘Could this be the weekend we finally get married?’ I’m seriously losing it, it sounds so perfect and real! It’s like a dream come true just hearing him say that!

We’re not planning a huge wedding, but we still want to have fun and celebrate. We feel pretty committed already, so the wedding won’t drastically change things for us.
