Lady Gaga Sued Over ‘Mayhem’ Logo!

The surfboard company Lost International is taking legal action against Lady Gaga, alleging that she has unlawfully used their logo for her latest album release.

International Merchandise Brand, known as Lost International, offers multiple items adorned with the term “Mayhem”, which is identical to Lady Gaga’s latest endeavor titled the same way.

In the court case, the surfboard manufacturer argues that their logo’s styling of the word is remarkably similar to how Lady Gaga styled it for her album.

The company claims they reached out to Lady Gaga (Stefani Germanotta) to voice worries over the alleged resemblance.

Nonetheless, Lost International claims they took action by continuing to use their logo, leading to a lawsuit for trademark violation, as reported by TMZ.

DailyMail.com has reached out to a representative for Gaga for comment.

Since 2015, as stated in their official records, it is claimed that Lost International owns the copyright for their rendition of the Mayhem logo.

The plaintiffs have offered contrasting images of their goods alongside Lady Gaga’s, highlighting areas where they believe the text is too strikingly alike, which they find unacceptable.

In their legal dispute, Lost International argues that they’ve been employing their rendition of the Mayhem logo for over ten years.

The business is seeking compensation for lost profits as well as any earnings Lady Gaga has gained from the logo, and they want her prohibited from further usage of it.

On March 7th, the album titled “Mayhem” marked GaGa’s first complete pop studio album release following her 2020 project named “Chromatica.

This album features the recent hits “Disease,” released in October, and “Abracadabra,” which debuted just last month.

Gaga’s hit duet with Bruno Mars, titled “Die With A Smile,” which won a Grammy, was later added to the album “Mayhem.” It had been previously released as a standalone single in August of last year.

Chaos has achieved significant commercial success, making its debut as the leading album on the Billboard 200 chart and topping the charts in 21 different nations from the get-go.

Critics were equally enthusiastic, expressing warm accolades. Variety celebrated the resurrection of ‘dance-centric Gaga’, while The Guardian applauded the pop artist for penning thoughtful songs that resonate with her classic motifs such as sex, glamour, and fame.
