Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have been engaged since 2024, and she recently shared that their wedding will happen ‘soon’.
The Grammy-winning singer, 39, hinted at a detail about her upcoming wedding during a recent appearance on Bruno Mars’s TikTok Live show, Romantic Radio, on Friday.
In a video message, Lady Gaga explained that she and her fiancé have spent the last year traveling, and will soon be getting married. She asked if we could pick a song for their special day.
Mars, who previously worked with her on the popular song ‘Die With A Smile,’ selected a track from his latest album, ‘The Romantic’.
If you want a song to dedicate to your husband, I recommend ‘Risk It All’ from my latest album.
This first song is dedicated to Lady Gaga and her fiancé. And Michael, this one’s for you as well, he added.
Last October, the pop star told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show that she’s excited about becoming a mother.
She said she’s open to continuing her acting career, whether in movies or on Broadway, but her biggest goal right now is to start a family. She hopes becoming a mother will be her next big role.
She excitedly described her future husband as her best friend and shared that being with him makes her feel strong and supported as a woman pursuing a career in music.
She remembered being immediately impressed when they first met in 2019. She felt he truly understood her, and she felt she understood him in return.
People began speculating about a romantic connection between the couple around New Year’s Eve in 2019, and they confirmed their relationship on Instagram in early 2020.
David Polansky graduated from Harvard University in 2006 and currently serves as the executive director of the Parker Foundation.
Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have been seen together at several high-profile events during their relationship, including the Super Bowl, the BAFTAs, and the Critics Choice Awards.
Reports surfaced in August 2024 that the couple was planning their wedding and working on a prenuptial agreement.
Last September, Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, used Instagram to publicly celebrate her future husband’s birthday.
She shared an intimate photo of them kissing while celebrating his special day.
And in a heartfelt caption, she wrote, ‘Happy Birthday to my honey.
Wishing you an amazing 42nd year! You’ve accomplished so much in your life, and I’m incredibly proud of you. I’m especially thankful for the day you were born – it was a truly special moment.
She excitedly shared that this was her favorite day of the year, describing it as a cool, almost rainy day perfect for a long walk. It was made even more special by a happy birthday and filled with laughter, topped off with delicious angel food cake and chocolate sauce.
Gaga concluded the sweet note by writing, ‘I love you,’ and adding a kiss emoji.
