Lady Gaga announces Joker 2 album Harlequin
As a long-time fan of both music and the dark, intriguing world of DC Comics, I can hardly contain my excitement for Lady Gaga’s upcoming album, “Harlequin.” With her captivating voice and knack for creating thought-provoking artistry, it’s no surprise that she’d take on the iconic role of Harley Quinn in Todd Phillips’ Joker sequel.
Lady Gaga has revealed a fresh, newly titled album called “Harlequin,” which is intended as a complementary work alongside “Joker: Folie à Deux.
In the upcoming film, which is a continuation of the 2019 release, Joaquin Phoenix once again takes on the character of Arthur Fleck. During his time at Arkham Asylum, he encounters Harleen ‘Lee’ Quinzel, portrayed by Lady Gaga.
Excited fans are eagerly awaiting the movie’s release on October 4th, and the singer recently shared on Twitter that she has recorded an accompanying album. The title of this album makes reference to the fictional persona of her character.

In the near future, Harlequin is set to hit screens, but fans will need to hold on for a couple more weeks before they can watch Todd Phillips’ movie. However, Lady Gaga hinted that her characterization of Quinn in this film could differ significantly from those who played the role previously.
She stated, “My interpretation of Harley is indeed mine, and it aligns perfectly with the film and its characters. This role is unlike anything I’ve ever played; everything will be fresh, original, and incredibly exciting.
