Lachie and Jules Neale’s marriage split: What will happen to couple’s five-bedroom ‘forever home’ worth $2.43million

It was supposed to be the ‘forever home’ for Lachie Neale and his young family.

Now that the footy star has officially separated from his wife, Jules, reports suggest he may also sell their Brisbane home, which is worth $2.43 million.

The AFL star had previously declared his ‘love’ for the sprawling five-bedroom pad in Seven Hills.

In 2022, Neale, age 32, bought the two-story house at auction. He was able to do so after selling a home in Coorparoo for a $1 million profit earlier that year.

This newly built home offers a roomy, open design with high ceilings and stylish louvred windows. It includes three bathrooms, a pool, and a great outdoor entertainment area.

You can enjoy meals outdoors in the alfresco dining area and on the BBQ patio. The main bedroom includes a walk-in closet, a private bathroom, and its own balcony.

Neale had previously gushed over his lavish home in an interview with the Courier Mail in 2025.

‘I love this space,’ he told the publication.

The ex-couple, who have a four-year-old daughter named Piper and a one-year-old son named Freddie, haven’t publicly said what they plan to do with their property yet.

This follows Jules Neale publicly addressing the breakup with her husband, AFL player Lachie, after he confirmed they were separating.

During a press conference in Queensland on Friday, the Brisbane Lions player visibly trembled as he announced his separation from his wife after seven years of marriage.

The surprising news followed Jules’ public statement about a deep betrayal and a strong social media response in December. She accused a friend of the couple, Tess Crosley – a former Mormon missionary – of the wrongdoing.

On Friday night, Jules, 35, posted a puzzling video on Instagram, marking her first activity on the platform since the recent controversy started.

The brief video showed a group of women seated around a dining table, though no individuals were specifically identified.

The women gathered around a table covered with vision boards, writing down encouraging statements and planning what they hoped to achieve in 2026.

An inspirational quip featured on one board read: ‘The love I deserve is on its way to me.’

Another read: ‘I am stepping into the most successful decade of my life.’

As a lifestyle guru, I’m loving this message I saw from Jules! She basically said – and I totally agree – that it’s time to gather your best girlfriends and start dreaming up all the amazing things you want to experience in 2026. It’s all about good energy and manifesting those goals with the people you love!

She also augmented the clip with the song This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole.

Jules posted this shortly after Lachie announced their marriage had ended and that he was resigning as co-captain of the Brisbane Lions.

Lachie told reporters he was deeply sorry for disappointing his family and causing them pain with his actions. He didn’t share details, but offered a sincere apology for the hurt he caused.

On December 22nd, Jules publicly criticized Tess Crosley, a former friend, and asked her to take down pictures she’d posted of the Brisbane Lions’ grand final win.

Screenshots show that Jules once commented, ‘Take these down, you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself.’ The original comment has since been deleted.

Jules responded to reports about difficulties with Lachie by saying they weren’t working through issues, but that she had been deeply hurt and betrayed.

She stated firmly that she wasn’t dealing with any personal issues, but had been deeply hurt by someone’s betrayal.

There is no suggestion that Tess has done anything improper.
