Kym Marsh is seen departing the Coronation Street studios following fan speculation she is returning to show
On a whimsical Wednesday, I found myself standing outside the hallowed Coronation Street studios in Manchester, my heart pounding with anticipation as I caught sight of none other than Kym Marsh exiting the premises. The rumors of her potential comeback to the show had me on tenterhooks, and there she was, right before my very eyes!
As I stepped out of the building today, I opted for a laid-back yet stylish look, donning a comfortable grey hoodie and a pair of sleek black leggings. Accompanied by a friendly companion, we walked away from the building, embodying the effortless elegance that’s synonymous with my lifestyle choices.
The ex-star of the band Hear’Say finished off her look with a black, padded coat and a pair of white sneakers.
From 2006 to 2019, Kym portrayed the character of Michelle Connor on the popular British soap opera Coronation Street. She was honored with the British Soap Award for the most outstanding newcomer in her role.
Meanwhile, we’ve learned from a reliable insider that Kym currently doesn’t intend to rejoin the soap opera in the near future.

Earlier this year, Kym hinted at the possibility of her coming back to Coronation Street in the near future, expressing a willingness for a comeback.
She expressed that she might consider returning since she’s deeply fond of Coronation Street and had some wonderful years spent there.
That program was a great learning experience for me, and I formed numerous friendships there. However, I chose to move on to other endeavors, which I’m currently working on. Perhaps we’ll cross paths again someday!
In 2019, Michelle decided to depart from the Cobbles following her discovery that her partner, Robert Preston, had a child with Vicky Jefferies.
She joined forces with Vicky to swindle Robert out of their shared Bistro, a venture they eventually sold to an unknown purchaser. However, the shock set in when she discovered that the new proprietor was Ray Crosby, a shady entrepreneur who had previously made inappropriate advances towards her.
Overwhelmed with anger and sadness, Michelle wrecked the Bistro in a burst of fury, until she was halted by Carla Connor.
Leaving tearful farewells behind for her family, particularly her sons Ryan and Ali, as well as giving them a heads-up about Ray, Michelle hailed a cab to embark on a fresh chapter of life in Ireland, joining her parents there.
It comes after Coronation Street and Emmerdale’s boss quit after 27 years with ITV.

This month, it was revealed that John Whiston, who serves as both the Managing Director of Continuing Drama and the Head of ITV in the North, will be leaving his position at the end of this month to embark on his retirement.
After spending 40 years in the television world, and an impressive 27 of those with this particular channel, he will undoubtedly be greatly missed, having contributed to shows like The Chase, Vera, and Heartbeat, and currently managing the soap operas.
Iain MacLeod and Matt Cleary will take over the role from Jon.
Sharing some exciting thoughts, John expressed, “I’ve often mentioned that my job is the cream of the crop in television. In quieter moments, I’d whisper this, just in case ITV decided to change my paycheck.
Over the past ten years, it’s been both an honor and a pleasure beyond measure to be part of the soap operas team.
‘We’ve had joy, we’ve had fun and we’ve had seasons in the sun.
‘We’ve also had misery and mayhem. We’ve had motorway crashes, tram crashes and floods.
‘We’ve had stories which have squeezed your heart till tears came out of your eyes.
Furthermore, we’ve tackled a broad spectrum of challenges that individuals encounter in their personal journeys, always approaching them with compassion and empathy.

The success of the show can be attributed to the dedicated team of approximately 600 individuals, including writers, production crew, actors, and editors, who consistently maintain its high quality and keep it running smoothly every single day.
‘And it’s them who have made my job ridiculously easy. Just don’t tell ITV.
With Iain MacLeod taking on the role of Creative Director and Matt Cleary as Chief Operating Officer, our ITV Soaps are poised for an exciting new era starting next January, as they increase to five episodes a week. Additionally, a groundbreaking crossover event between both shows is in store, adding to the anticipation for what’s to come.
Now seems to be the ideal moment for me to depart, and I simply wanted to express my gratitude… to my coworkers, to ITV, and to our faithful, grateful viewers.
Currently serving as the Executive Producer for Continuing Drama, they are set to receive a promotion to the role of Creative Director.
He will take on all the editorial responsibility for creating the two popular soaps.
In his latest position as the Chief Operating Officer for Continuing Drama at ITV Studios, Matt will oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning.
