Kym Marsh is said to be dating someone new, less than a year after ending her relationship with Samuel Thomas, who she previously called her soulmate.

Coronation Street star, 49, split from her boyfriend, a performer 19 years younger, in February after a six-month relationship.

After her breakup, she signed up for the dating app Hinge earlier this year, indicating she was starting to date again.

Kym has reportedly found love again with a fitness enthusiast named Tom, after they were set up by mutual friends.

According to The Sun, the actress and singer has been posting photos of a man named Tom on Instagram, but she hasn’t identified him in the posts or publicly confirmed their relationship.

According to a source, the couple recently spent a night alone together and he’s already been introduced to her daughter, Emilie, indicating the relationship is progressing quickly.

He’s spent time socializing with her friends, and everyone seemed drawn to him – which isn’t surprising, given how attractive he is.

‘Kym always throws herself fully into everything – including relationships.’

Last month, news surfaced that Kym is dating again. Sources say she’s using the Hinge app and has a clear idea of what she wants in a partner.

Kym stated on her dating profile that a potential partner absolutely *must* make her laugh hysterically to win her over.

As reported by The Sun, Kym once described her perfect Sunday as relaxing with a lie-in, taking her dog for a walk, and enjoying a roast dinner. She identified herself as an actor and presenter.

She also revealed her playful personality, joking that dating her is like living in the movie *The Truman Show* – always interesting and full of surprises!

According to reports, her dating profile features photos of her hugging her two dogs and posing in a playfully pouty way.

Kym and Samuel broke up before Christmas, shortly after finishing their tour performing in ‘101 Dalmatians: The Musical’.

The singer had to explain her relationship with Samuel, who is the same age as her eldest child, after publicly calling him her ‘soulmate’ on social media.

After their tour ended, Kym reportedly had trouble finding time to be with her then-boyfriend, according to The Sun. This followed their recent split.

According to a source, Kym and Sam immediately fell in love and were eager to share their happiness with everyone.

It was tough after Kym finished working on 101 Dalmatians. We just didn’t seem to have as much time for each other anymore, and honestly, some of that initial spark we had started to fade. It really changed things.

‘It’s such a shame, especially before Christmas but Kym surrounded herself with family.’

Kym shares her son David, 30, and daughter actress Emilie, 28, with her ex David Cunliffe. 

Kym is a mother to two children: 14-year-old Poppy, from her previous marriage to Jamie Lomas, and her son Archie, who sadly passed away shortly after being born prematurely in 2009.

Kym and Jamie initially connected on a train journey to the 2007 TV Quick Awards. Their relationship began in July 2008, a year before Kym finalized her divorce from Jack Ryder.

She got married again in 2021 to Scott Ratcliff, a soldier, but they announced their separation in May 2023.

Kym recently posted a heartfelt message about David, the father of her two oldest children, Emilie and David Jr.

Even though they separated in 1999, the two have stayed good friends—the singer has described the builder as ‘one of the best friends I have.’

Kym and her partner first connected in 1994 at a karaoke bar and later had two children together. They separated in 1999, just before Kym gained recognition as a contestant on the TV show Popstars.

Despite past difficulties, they’ve developed a strong and friendly co-parenting relationship, and Kym often shares photos and updates about their time together online.
