As a devoted fan, I was thrilled to learn that at 56 years old, the talented artist has unveiled her global tour schedule on Thursday. Excitingly, Australia will be our initial stop in this grand adventure.
As your go-to lifestyle guide, I’m thrilled to share that my highly anticipated tour, the Tension Tour 2025, kicks off right here in the vibrant city of Perth on February 15. From there, we’ll journey together through Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and finally Sydney. This exciting adventure is not to be missed!
Following the two Sydney shows on March 1 and 2, the tour moves onto Asia, then the U.K.
This past week, Kylie’s followers got excited when she declared a global tour and revealed details about her 17th studio album titled Tension II.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can’t contain my excitement about the upcoming album I’ve been working on, scheduled for release on October 18. This new piece is a follow-up to my critically acclaimed album, “Tension,” released in 2023. The positive response it received from critics has only fueled my passion and creativity for this sequel.
Twice Grammy-winning artist announced her new album through an Instagram post featuring a series of images, showing herself in a flowing white dress on a sandy beach, accompanied by a lively tune in the backdrop.
Kylie playfully hinted in her post: “Lovers, get ready for more drama… Sequel to ‘Tension’ featuring NINE fresh tunes is coming your way on October 18th!
Prepare for your moment on screen… Your lead single will be released on September 27th… Camera, lights, action! But hold on, there’s something else to share too…
Apart from this, she also unveiled plans for a global concert series titled “TENSION TOUR 2025,” which will find her performing in Australia, Asia, and the United Kingdom. In her own words: ‘I can hardly contain my enthusiasm to make this announcement!’
I’m eagerly looking forward to unveiling stunning and untamed experiences alongside fans globally, as we commemorate the Tension era and beyond!

A little over a year ago, Kylie unveiled “Tension” on a Sunday, which made her more than 3 million fans incredibly happy because they got a fresh batch of her work so swiftly afterward.

In May 2023, the lead single titled “Padam Padam” from the album “Tension” was unveiled. It’s a dance-pop and synthpop composition that blends electronic music and incorporates hints of Eastern European melodies.
The song “Padam Padam” garnered high praise from musical critics, who found it irresistibly catchy and memorable.
It won the inaugural Best Pop Dance Recording award at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in February.
On that thrilling evening, Kylie let out a triumphant yelp as she learned she had claimed her first Grammy in eighteen years, making it her second award in total.
The popularity of Tension significantly grew due to TikTok, where the song “Padam Padam” became a viral sensation. This clearly underscores the significant role that social media plays in contemporary music launches.
At 55 years old, Kylie overcame the challenges posed by an industry that can be ageist, as “Padam Padam” turned out to be her most successful song in more than a decade, even though it faced difficulties getting airplay.
Despite significant radio stations turning down the chance to air Padam Padam, the song managed to chart in the UK top 10 thanks to passionate fan efforts via online streaming and digital downloads.

Essentially, she wasn’t planning to end up where she is now. Growing up as the youngest in her family, she had to struggle to make herself heard or claim her own space. People would often dismiss her because of her age, saying things like “You’re 18, what do you know?” Despite this, throughout her career spanning several decades, she has managed to carve out a niche for herself, and here we are.
