Kylie Minogue looked stunning in a sparkly white mini-dress, sharing some glamorous photos on social media.
The Australian pop icon, 57, took to Instagram on Friday as she shared an array of stylish snaps.
Kylie looked stunning in a short, white dress with stylish cut-outs and high leg slits as she posed on a staircase.
The dress featured shimmering, beaded fringe and long tassels, which she complemented with satin high heels.
‘How very candid …..’ she captioned the snaps.
Following a report in The Mail on Sunday, Netflix will release a documentary later this year where Kylie Minogue shares the complete story of her relationship with the late Michael Hutchence of INXS.
I remember when he and Kylie were such a golden couple – they dated from 1989 to 1991, and it felt like a real dream! After that, he was linked to the gorgeous Helena Christiansen. Then, I was so surprised to see him connect with Paula Yates when he was on The Big Breakfast – it was definitely a memorable time!
A source close to the documentary said: ‘Everyone at Netflix is so super excited about this show.
Kylie plans to share details about her relationship with Michael that she’s never revealed before, telling the complete story for the first time.
This was a major turning point for Kylie, transforming her public image from a sweet and innocent soap opera actress to a much more fashionable and edgy personality.
She loved Michael, but their relationship was deeply difficult. He was struggling with his own issues, and now she’s ready to reveal her side of the story, including some shocking details.
Kylie and Michael first met at an INXS concert. Kylie’s boyfriend at the time, Jason Donovan – who was her co-star on the show Neighbours – had gotten them tickets.
She was only 21 years old then. After Kylie and Jason broke up a few months later, she began a relationship with Hutchence.
Although both were famous Australian personalities, she had a wholesome, approachable image, while he was known as a rebellious rock star.
The couple made their first public appearance together at the premiere of her 1989 movie, The Delinquents, where she debuted a stylish new short haircut.
In 2019, Kylie described him as someone who enthusiastically embraced all of life’s experiences – from romance and pleasure to adventure and knowledge. He was eager to try everything.
As someone who really values connection, I’ve always believed a fulfilling relationship needs to ignite all the senses. Being with him definitely did that for me – he brought a wonderful new energy and passion into my life, and helped me rediscover my own desires.
I was so saddened to learn of Michael Hutchence’s passing. It’s well-known their relationship ended quite dramatically back in 1991 – Kylie Minogue actually flew all the way from Japan to New York to end things. Despite that difficult breakup, they managed to stay friends, which is lovely to see. Tragically, he took his own life in 1997 at the Ritz-Carlton in Sydney; he was only 37. It’s a reminder that you never truly know what someone is going through, even those who seem to have it all.
He died by suicide after consuming a combination of drugs and alcohol. Authorities found him hanged, and he had been naked. Earlier that day, he’d left a troubling voicemail for his manager.
Three years after their separation, Paula Yates, his former partner, tragically died from a drug overdose in London at the age of 41. Their daughter, Tiger Lily, was only four years old at the time.
Oh my gosh, you guys, Kylie – the Charlene from Neighbours! – is sharing her story in this new documentary, and it’s going to be so brave of her. She’s actually talking about everything she went through when she battled breast cancer back in 2004. I’m honestly so excited and a little emotional just thinking about it. She’s always been such an inspiration!
Someone involved with the project revealed that this is Kylie’s first major, in-depth project, and it’s expected to be incredibly captivating for viewers.
The show will be directed by Emmy-winning Michael Harte and produced by Ventureland.
It recently delivered the WHAM! documentary, as well as the Beckham show for Netflix.
