I was totally shocked and thrilled to see Kylie Jenner pop up in A.G. Cook’s new music video! It features Charli XCX, and Kylie’s appearance was a complete surprise – it really made the video even more exciting!
The song, part of Charli’s fake documentary ‘The Moment,’ was released by A24 on Tuesday. The release included a video featuring the two famous stars wearing revealing outfits – low-cut tops and very short shorts.
Charli’s film, previously called a ‘tour mockumentary,’ debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City over the weekend and will be released nationally on February 6th.
The video starts with Charli, who was at a film festival and previously seen in lingerie and a fur coat, walking the streets of New York City at night.
Dancers who all resembled Charli XCX were performing in a rave-like environment, but they eventually left, leaving the singer alone in the darkness.
The camera focused on a figure, and as she turned, it became clear it was Jenner, standing by herself and smoking a cigarette.
The music video as well as Charli’s film The Moment are both directed by Aidan Zamiri.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m always excited to see creative projects come to life, and Charlotte Emma Aitchison – better known as Charli XCX – has really outdone herself! She’s just released a film and invited some incredible talent to be a part of it. It’s especially cool because it marks Kendall Jenner’s very first acting role – a major moment for her!
Charli was smoking outside, then began walking toward a dimly lit warehouse.
I watched her march through the rooms, and it was so surreal. Everywhere I looked, there were copies of her – almost like looking in a million mirrors. And the merchandise! Piles and piles of it, all from her new album that came out last summer. It was a total overload, but honestly, it felt so her.
The camera tracked Charli as she entered a room filled with women who all shared her striking, dark, curly hair. They were gathered in front of a large screen.
All the models were dressed alike: a white tank top and shorts with high boots. They stood in front of a screen displaying lyrics from her ‘Brat’ album.
As lights began flashing, the group all began dancing and head banging to the electronic music.
Phrases like ‘never move on,’ ‘The Moment,’ ‘it’s over,’ and repeating ‘just do it’ appeared on screen, suggesting she was leaving behind her ‘Brat’ persona.
The music video ended with big, bold text with ‘The Moment’ displayed across a bright green screen.
As the camera zoomed in, the figure of Jenner, who initially looked like Charli, became the main focus.
The music video ended with the reality TV star giving a sultry look and a smile while casually hooking her thumb into her pants.
In the other hand, she was posing with a lit, slim cigarette.
The movie The Moment will begin showing in a few US theaters on January 30th, and will be available in cinemas across the country starting February 6th.
Charli’s new ‘tour mockumentary’ will debut in Germany on February 19th, and then become available in the UK and Ireland on February 20th.
The film will drop in Brazil and Mexico on February 26 and hit Australia on March 5.
