Kylie Jenner looks every inch a beauty boss as she celebrates 10 years of Kylie Cosmetics

Kylie Jenner is celebrating a decade of trailblazing in the beauty industry.

And the 28-year-old self-made multimillionaire – who recently admitted to liking booze, junk food, and gambling –  looked every bit the mogul in a new cover photoshoot for WWD special edition publication Beauty Inc.

She wore a bold, oversized suit with a classic white shirt, a black striped tie, and shiny black heels.

I was immediately struck by her beauty. She had gorgeous, dark hair that cascaded down her shoulders, and she really highlighted her features with some lovely pink makeup – her lips were especially eye-catching with a cool, shimmering blue sheen. It was a really striking look!

This November will mark the 10-year anniversary of Kylie Cosmetics, the beauty brand launched by the mother of two. The first Kylie Lip Kits came out on November 30, 2015, making her a pioneer in the celebrity beauty world.

Of the milestone, Kylie said: ‘I’ve been very emotional about it.

I recently rediscovered an old phone from 2016 and found pictures of myself as a teenager – 17 and 18 years old – while I was making my very first eyeshadow palette on the factory floor. When I was starting the brand, I wasn’t thinking about the future at all, certainly not about what things would be like ten years later, so it’s really strange and amazing to be where I am now.

Kylie launched her beauty brand before many other celebrity lines, including those from Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Hailey Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Jennifer Lopez, making her a real pioneer in the industry.

In 2019, Kylie Jenner’s makeup company, Kylie Beauty, made history as the first beauty brand founded by a Gen Z celebrity to be bought by a major corporation. Coty acquired a 51% share of the company for $600 million.

Since then, she’s expanded her business interests by starting her own fashion brand, Khy, in 2023, and launching a vodka soda brand called Sprinter last year.

Kylie explained that each of her businesses is focused on building something meaningful to her and forging genuine connections with customers.

The process always begins by asking, “Would this fit my personal style and feel authentic to me?” That question guides every decision and ensures a consistent brand identity.

Even though she’s achieved success with other ventures, the Kardashian family member confessed that Kylie Cosmetics is her most cherished brand.

She’s incredibly passionate about her business and dreams that her daughter, seven-year-old Stormi Webster, might one day run it.

Kylie shared that she’s still passionate about creating after a decade in the beauty business. Her hope is that her daughter will one day run Kylie Cosmetics, turning it into a lasting brand, and she’s actively working to make that happen.

The mogul also shares son Aire, three, with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott. 

She’s currently dating actor Timothée Chalamet, and the couple is choosing to keep their relationship very private.

With Timothée Chalamet and his partner, it’s interesting – they intentionally keep their relationship pretty private. He’s really focused on being seen as a serious actor, so they avoid a lot of public displays on social media. They *do* support each other at events, though! They’ve been to several awards shows together, but you’ll only find one instance of them actually walking the red carpet as a couple – they definitely prioritize keeping things low-key.

Reports last month said Timothée showed Kylie a lot of love with thoughtful gifts and actions, even though he couldn’t be with her for her birthday because of work commitments abroad.
