Kylie Jenner cheers up boyfriend Timothee Chalamet at BAFTAs dinner as his path to Oscars glory hits a bump in the road

Although Timothée Chalamet didn’t win the Leading Actor award, his girlfriend Kylie Jenner was there to support him at the BAFTAs after-party on Sunday night.

The couple looked comfortable and happy as they sat in the audience at London’s Royal Festival Hall, and later joined other celebrities at a dinner celebrating the awards.

Although many predicted Timothée would win Best Actor for his performance in Marty Supreme, Robert Aramayo, from I Swear, ultimately took home the award.

Kylie happily sat on her boyfriend’s lap while they took pictures, wanting to be a supportive and fun presence.

Everyone was excited to see Kylie and Timothée on the BAFTAs red carpet, but Kylie chose not to pose for photos with him. She went straight inside to find her seat instead.

Even though Timothée was nominated for an award, he didn’t appear very engaged with the ceremony and was seen texting on his phone.

A friend playfully messaged the Dune actor, even sending him a meme featuring the striking orange suit he wore to the Los Angeles premiere of his movie, Marty Supreme, last December.

Timothée later looked at his text messages while talking to his partner, Kylie, who looked stunning in a low-cut black dress adorned with silver jewels.

Kylie and her Oscar-nominated partner have been together for over three years and already share a home. Sources say they’re thinking about getting married.

Everyone expected Timothée to win Best Actor, especially after he’d already won at the Critics Choice Awards and Golden Globes last month.

His run of successes came to an end when Robert Aramayo, a rising star from Britain, unexpectedly won the role in the drama I Swear. He beat out both Timothée Chalamet and Leonardo DiCaprio, in what many considered a surprising result.

Timothée Chalamet’s new film, where he plays a hopeful table tennis player named Marty Mauser, has now earned the same number of BAFTA losses as two other movies: the 1969 film Woman In Love and Finding Neverland from 2004. They are all tied for the most losses in BAFTA history.

Marty Supreme received nominations for Best Film and Best Supporting Actress. While One Battle After Another won Best Film, Odessa A’Zion didn’t win Best Supporting Actress – Wunmi Mosaku, from the film Sinners, took home that award.

The film One Battle After Another won six BAFTAs, including Best Film and Director, despite being nominated for fourteen awards. Surprisingly, neither the Leading Actor nor the Supporting Actress won an award.

Meanwhile Sinners, nominated in 13 categories, took home only three.

Leonardo DiCaprio has received more BAFTA nominations than any other actor, but he’s only won the award once, for his role in The Revenant.

As a lifestyle and awards season observer, I’m often asked about how rising stars impact each other’s Oscar chances. In this case, people are wondering if Robert Aramayo’s performance affects Timothée Chalamet’s. It’s a valid question, but it’s important to remember that Aramayo isn’t even in the running for an Oscar this year, so his impact on Chalamet’s chances is really just speculation at this point.

Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Wagner Moura, Ethan Hawke, and Michael B. Jordan are the actors nominated for the Best Actor Oscar this year.

Robert, clearly moved while accepting his Best Actor award, expressed his disbelief, saying he could hardly believe he was standing on stage, let alone looking at esteemed colleagues like Leonardo DiCaprio.

He expressed his disbelief at winning the award, saying he was truly surprised. He explained that he was incredibly impressed by all the other nominees in the category.

I remember when Ethan Hawke spoke at Juilliard while I was a student. He gave a really insightful talk about having a long career as an actor – specifically, taking care of your voice and avoiding harmful habits. It truly resonated with everyone there.

When the camera showed the other nominees, Leonardo was seen clapping respectfully, and Timothée offered a smile.

Oh my gosh, the awards were AMAZING! Seriously, One Battle After Another totally dominated, taking home SIX awards! I knew they were incredible! And then Sinners, Frankenstein, and I Swear each snagged three, which is still SO good! Even Hamnet got two! I’m still buzzing, honestly. It was their night!
